Student Walk-outs from School took place all across the nation. Watching the Lame Stream Media, one would think this was an epic effort. Well, It was. This wasn’t an individual effort reflecting student’s voices. No, this was an event organized by left wing teachers and school administrators all across the nation.

I received a phone call from my daughter yesterday afternoon. She lives in Pennsylvania. She was angry. The kids came home from school and shared that their teachers, “compelled them,” to participate in a “march to memorialize the students lost at Parkland.” The kids weren’t given an option not to participate.

Misguided Prosecution. In the last couple of days, I have seen some pretty harsh emotional critique about 31-year-old Alycia Neely’s arrest. I need not over litigate the details because Kimberly Morin has done a great job  where she asks, Was Manchester Mom Wrongfully Arrested for Daring to Protect her Family? The details are contained therein.

Looking at this case, however, I am reminded of State V. Oriol Dor, an opinion issued by the N.H. Supreme Court on August 7, 2013.  On May 8, 2012, Manchester Police searched Dor’s vehicle, finding a .40 caliber semi-automatic pistol located in the glove compartment.

Slide Fires and Slippery Slopes. And, the slippery slope is  at our door once again. About 96 hours ago, yet another maniac shot up a public venue, killing 59 people. The emotional caterwauling begun almost immediately. Not one single law in existence nor anything proposed would have stopped or thwarted this attack. It did not take two days for a piece of legislation to totally ban the use of slide fire stocks, binary triggers or other like technology to come to the floor.

Senate Bill 12 has passed the house and the Senate. Governor Chris Sununu stated on the campaign trail if the bill comes to his desk, he would sign it into law. We all know the history. The same legislation has passed both houses twice before and Democrat Governor Maggie Hassan has vetoed them both times at the mere insistence of the New Hampshire Association of Chiefs of Police.

Pat Grossmith of The Union leader featured this story yesterday entitled, “Concealed carry: Granite Staters speak out on imminent repeal of permit requirement.”  I read the article with much intrigue. The misinformation flowed like water in this article. Literally flowed….What I found so completely disappointing were the Police personnel interviewed for the article. I am not even certain how my opinion is formed, be it purposeful misinformation as a means to an end or lack of basic critical thinking.

The New Hampshire Association of Chiefs of Police has grave concerns about SB 12….Grave, I tell ya. The concern is over the definition of, “firearm.” The Chiefs believe the bills use of the word “firearm”  will confuse long guns with handguns.  Really? Are not handguns, “firearms?” and are not rifles and shotguns, “firearms?”

It would appear the NHACOP concerns is much ado about nothing…honestly.  What is concerning is this recurring pattern of police in New Hampshire to over define some aspect of the law that ends up being an overreach.

Take the case of  State of N.H. v. Oriol Dor, decided May 7, 2013.  On May 8, 2012, Manchester Police searched the Dor’s vehicle finding a .40 caliber pistol adjacent to a loaded magazine in the vehicle’s glove compartment. Despite no cartridge in the chamber or a magazine in the magazine well, The State charged Dor with carrying a loaded pistol without a valid license.

American People’s Historical Society, a non-profit that produced leftist progressive filmstrips, created in 1978, was not a bastion of jobs and economic prosperity. Sanders finally collected his first steady paycheck at the age of 40! He was now an elected official! Bernie Sanders won an election as a bum.

We cannot overlook the fact that President-Elect Trump has broken new ground. We’ve entered uncharted territory. In the history of our Republic, the people have NEVER elected a non-politician to this higher officer of POTUS. Certainly not one as wealthy and successful as Donald Trump.

We are seeing this nuttiness at all levels of society. We see it in our State Houses, our local governments, In our schools, and in public. I am poised just waiting for somebody to nail a live chicken to his or her own head to protest Donald Trump’s inauguration.

If anything we should be galled when we see Hollywood lining up to tell us how to vote…how to think…where to stand on an issue..or issues.

He had the tribulation of his FEC issue and is now past it (I think…although, if it were CSP, it would have gone away quicker and would have been minimized by Ray Buckley).

Actor Jim Parsons does a masterful job portraying Dr. Cooper who demands all social constructs be folded into his world view… Much like Politifact when it comes to guns and the Second Amendment.

On May 11, Politifact’s own Linda Qiu writes, “Donald Trump Falsely Claims, Hillary Clinton wants to abolish the Second Amendment.”  Qiu is 100% correct. Hillary Clinton has never come right out and said those words. Never. For a politician (charlatan) like Hillary to do so would be certain political suicide. She would draw the ire of many of her hypocritical, gun-owning left-wing friends.
