Proglodyte whiners are on their high-energy price horse yet again as the world watches Iran, the United States, and the Strait of Hormuz. But Democrats love high energy prices. They must necessarily skyrocket under any of their plans.
As high as they may be where you are, they are much higher in Blue States and cities. Gasoline, home heating fuels, and the electricity rates paid to charge those pricey EVs are also higher the bluer your politics get.
And while conflict always manages to drive up the price of oil, and everyone on the other side of it is going to complain, the elected Democrats and the zombie apocalypse they call their base are liars and hypocrites about most everything, especially this.
Global Warming, Climate change, exists to use the State to control carbon, which, if you recall, is what most everything is made of. Budding Marxists don’t care about the environment. They crave power, and in this case, over your power, human and mechanical. Controlling energy means controlling you, and for decades, they’ve been using every means at their disposal to control both, and nothing about any of it does anything but make energy cost more.

And many of their friends running to the courthouse are bankrolled by foreign money. All with the goal of deliberately strangling American energy production.
This isn’t speculation. It’s a coordinated, well-funded legal war. The Natural Resources Defense Council brags it sued the Trump administration 163 times, taking credit for killing the Keystone XL pipeline. The Sierra Club proudly claims it filed over 300 cases against the first Trump term and launched more than 100 new lawsuits and interventions in 2025 alone. You may have never heard of Swiss billionaire Hansjörg Wyss and his network, but they’re main-lining cash to these groups. According to a recent Americans for Public Trust report, entities founded by Wyss have funneled more than $673 million into U.S.-based advocacy groups. …
These lawsuits don’t just waste taxpayer dollars and court time, they also drive-up costs for every American family. They block new supplies. They delay projects for years. They force companies to spend millions on lawyers instead of on production. The result is clear: Less American oil, gas, and coal coming online exactly when the world needs reliable energy most.
During the Obama years, the Administration would work with third parties to fund them through lawsuits. They would sue the “US Government,” which would plead no contest, and the treasury would write them a check for millions, sometimes hundreds of millions.
The Biden Administration continued the practice of funding progressive groups through USAID and grants from every US Government department. We’ve learned that nearly every agency is rife with fraud. Lax or non-existent gatekeepers hand out your tax dollars to anyone on their side, then fail or refuse to follow up on evidence of fraud.
They’ve swelled the federal budget to feed this beast, making the dollar worth less, making everything cost more, including the energy they’ve already made more expensive.
Democrats suck, not just colloquially but deliberately. They suck the money from your pockets, comfort and mobility from your declining lifestyle, rights and freedoms out from under your feet, and free speech when you try to seek redress or warn the public.
If energy is too expensive, everything is too expensive. Existing becomes a luxury, and that’s not an accident; it is a policy goal.
