If you are a registered Democrat, this ought to concern you. Your party’s “leaders,” elected officials, have been telling their people to start trouble for years. Stories about anti-globalist brick throwers in the 20th century are well known, and violence has always been an easy tool for the left to pick up. And with rare exception, almost all political violence begins with the lies and hate-filled rants of left-Wing lunatics.
For those itching to say, but wait, Fascism!, sorry. National Socialism is a kissing cousin of Communism, a totalitarian system of rule, placing it firmly next to Marxism on the scale of human liberty. It is a despotism to the right of communism, but not much else.
And when despots don’t get their way or feel powerless, they lash out.
- Rep. Hakeem Jeffries implored people to “fight” the Trump Administration “in the streets” and declared ICE agents “will be unsuccessful” in protecting their identities “no matter what it takes.”
- Rep. Pramila Jayapal called ICE agents “deranged” and said it is “inspiring” to obstruct immigration enforcement.
- Rep. LaMonica McIver — who was charged with “forcibly impeding and interfering with federal officers” — incited her supporters to “shut down the city” because “we are at war.”
- Gov. Tim Walz smeared ICE agents as the “modern-day Gestapo.”
- Boston Mayor Michelle Wu compared ICE agents to the neo-Nazi group NSC-131.
- Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson accused “secret police” of “terrorizing our communities.”
- Sen. Bernie Sanders asked people to “figure out a way to stop ICE from what they are doing as soon as possible.”
- Rep. Kweisi Mfume challenged the Trump Administration to “a street fight.”
- Rep. Stephen Lynch smeared ICE agents as “the Gestapo” and “nondescript thugs.”
- Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said ICE “should not exist.”
- Rep. Becca Balint called ICE agents “vigilantes” who can’t be trusted.
- Rep. Eric Swalwell said it was his “priority” to ensure ICE agents “are no longer faceless,” comparing them to “some 1800s bank robber or some KGB officer in Russia.”
- Rep. Dan Goldman compared federal agents to “secret police” who must be unmasked.
- Rep. Jerry Nadler accused ICE agents of “hiding misbehavior because otherwise why would they be wearing masks?”
Those are the more polite exhortations.
Trump’s second term has put them over the edge. Calls for disruptions and violence, while never absent, and quite common, have risen to the level of deliberate lawbreaking as the rhetoric of leadership and its media homonculi push rank and file Democrats to demand, …what’s the word, insurrection.
Democratic lawmakers said that there has been mounting anger among liberal voters that has sometimes even resulted in them calling on congressional Democrats to violate the law and be prepared for acts of violence, Axios reported on Monday. Many of the House Democrats told the outlet that these voters are often white, well-educated, and wealthy.
“Some of them have suggested … what we really need to do is be willing to get shot” when visiting United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facilities or federal government agencies, one House Democrat told Axios.
If you lie and tell “your people” Trump is Hitler, and Republicans are Nazis, and that deporting illegal criminal aliens is unjust and inhuman, they will find the energy to convert those lies into action. And if you want to get shot, there are plenty of people who will accommodate you, especially if you attack them, and that’s already begun. Armed agents of the political left’s agenda are shooting at federal agents.
Nearly a dozen violent assailants equipped with tactical gear and weapons attacked U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Prairieland Detention Facility in Alvarado, Texas, on July 4, shooting a local law enforcement officer in the process. The officer is expected to recover.
The attack, which occurred just days before an armed activist shot a U.S. Border Patrol official in McAllen, Texas, was coordinated to vandalize the facility and disrupt operations there.
The FBI has arrested 10 of the 11 suspects, and the Johnson County Sheriff has confirmed that each now face local charges of terrorism, aggravated assault on a public servant with a deadly weapon, or aggravated assault with a deadly weapon against a peace officer. The final suspect is still at large.
You have to wonder how the left would have played this if a few or all of them ended up dead, then ask, was that the goal? Violent left-wing assailants in custody for obvious crimes can’t be the midterm look the Left is after. Paired with the illegal alien waving the Mexican flag on an LA street surrounded by burning vehicles (presumably the property of actual citizens), makes losing to Republicans in 2026 look easy.
They don’t want arrests.
Dem politicians shouting “take it to the streets” are hoping you end up dead. They aren’t activating the outrage they’ve planted in your heads to help you. This is to help them. They want to get re-elected. They want to build majorities to protect the waste, fraud, and abuse that keep them well-heeled and in the best of company. Penthouse views far above the bad schools, homelessness, drug addiction, and crime-riddled streets that their policies perpetuate.
If you get shot and killed by a federal agent, even if they were defending themselves, that’s a huge PR win to the people calling for unrest.
You were always disposable; maybe you didn’t realize it. Or that they don’t give a crap about your life, family, safety, equity, food security, gender, or anything else. Your misery is their political fuel, and a lifeless, bloody body at the feet of a Federal Agent is a campaign ad for a political movement that puts more value on you dead than alive.
So yes, they will keep calling for violence until they get the dead bodies they are after. The problem, however, is whether it will have the planned effect on the majority of middle-class independent voters or the moderates from both parties who elected Trump in 2024.
The central argument for violence is to prevent peace officers from following the law as written. Don’t let them deport criminal aliens. But given that Trump was elected to do that, can organized and premeditated, strategic domestic terror attacks on sworn peace officers doing their duty help Dems?
You have started a war whose messaging you can’t control against something the American people asked for, while putting every Democrat in the party or elected office on the hook. Someone will ask them if they approve. Someone had better. And not just once. Every day until you get an actual answer.
Any answer other than denouncing it will become part of the Republican mid-term media war.
We ran on making America great, improving the economy, reducing crime, and improving your life. Their response was a tantrum with riots and gunfights in a nation filled with law-abiding citizens, whom you have tried to disarm. They may not care if they have to shoot you dead to protect their own life, and that’s not a good look for the Dems’ midterm campaign plan either.
