Second, the hour is late and I fear bad times are imminent, but even a month of food, water, etc., puts you well ahead of most of the sheeple.
Third, two things will be critical for having the best chance of making it through:
- The proper mentality: first and foremost in survival is having a flexible mentality and cultivating the ability to adapt.
- Having a meatspace network of people that are likeminded: start cultivating your community ties and building alliances with neighbors (note: don’t babble about the Jab or globalists or depopulation, or start pointing political fingers when doing this)… and remember, the first rule of PREP CLUB is that there is no prep club.

A personal note: I’m seeing a lot more articles about grid down, food shortages, inflation, etc., etc., etc. I think people are awakening to the fact that “something” is not right. My friend, whom I mentioned previously, has had several people at work ask him about putting food away.
And a request: I am looking for contacts with NH Native American groups. I know it’s stereotypical, but if they offer classes on food preservation, foraging, etc., and they’re amenable, I’d like to sign up. And in general, anyone willing to teach me about canning, no-refrigeration-needed meat preservation, etc., I’ll volunteer my time to get hands-on knowledge. Understand that short of years of preparation and untold wealth, you cannot possibly be fully prepared for everything. But even some preparations, ideally at least 90 days of food, water / water purification, etc., puts you head and shoulders in front of the vast majority of the sheeple who will be in jaw-gaping astonishment when the SHTF. The only relevant questions are:

I’ve commented on the Grok and on Gab, per my learning about the Roman Empire, that one of the critical elements of Rome falling is the loss of confidence in the “average Roman” of Rome itself. (See Rome, er, America for example.)

What can you learn for yourself? E.g., my kids have been after me to do a chicken coop. We have several neighbors within a mile that have their own chickens – an excellent opportunity to volunteer the kids to help out in exchange for eggs and knowledge. My property’s soil sucks canal water, so growing here is hopeless, but can I develop relationships with farmers around? Can you get with some friends to buy a whole cow from a local producer? Bee keeping. Meat processors (e.g., in NH). The list of things you can learn is endless. Again, though, don’t beat yourself up because you’re not Grizzly Adams living in a small log cabin somewhere in the middle of the wilderness.
Because as I said in Things Fall Apart… bad times are coming. DC is hopelessly corrupt, and as that knowledge truly becomes known, the “average American” will turn from national interest to family & community interest. In this, definitely, it will pay to move with the herd.
