I’m a simple man quite honestly. I don’t really need a whole heck of a lot in my life to be happy. I think most of us here in the Granite State feel that way. We go to work, back home to our families, eat our warm dinners and lay down our heads in a comfortable bed.
We may not have the biggest houses or the craziest cars and that’s fine. We’re happy to be healthy and to have friends and family to share it with. We really can be quite content with just a few basics. A good job we can work at – A place to lay your head down at night-Food to fill our bellies shared with friends and family and also the TRUTH.
When my kids were younger one of the things, I really tried to impress upon them was the importance of the TRUTH. Sometimes it is ugly sometimes it’s quite disgusting but take it or leave it the truth is always the TRUTH. I told them time and time again as they became teenagers that, although I may not like what they have to say I always want the truth from them.
We always know what we’re dealing with in life when the truth is involved. Solving problems can be downright impossible when the truth is nowhere to be found. These past two years with coronavirus, this has been the very problem since the beginning.

Many things appear to be coming so obvious that even the left-wing disinformation media can’t deny it any longer. Things that some of us suspected to be true from the very beginning. The Wuhan lab leak, natural immunity, the odd counting of Covid hospitalizations, just to name a few. Seems two years ago we were all called crazy for thinking these things and now finally major news sources like ABC are finally printing these stories. But these are things we all know and I’m not going to re-beat the drummer on this point here. My challenge is to the local media in Cheshire County here below.
The trio of disinformation- Don Caruso CEO of Cheshire medical, Dan Mitchell station manager at WKBK radio, and the Keene sentinel all seem to have a problem with telling the truth. Case in point here below.
Taken right from the WKBK website is Don Caruso‘s weekly update from Tuesday last week.
In my last blog entitled “there is a new metric for counting how much Covid we’ve got “ we talked about how their major metric they like to use -percent of positivity – is basically garbage at best. Interesting to note that although he is the CEO of one hospital here in Cheshire County, he seems to love to use the numbers that applies to the whole state and not just Cheshire county.
On the state of New Hampshire‘s website you can clearly see that Cheshire county is only sitting at a seven-day rate of about 13%. Funny that’s not the number Don used to say how much community transmission is happening. He used the state number because it’s higher or quite possibly he only uses the number applied to his hospital alone and discounts the test done at other clinics in the area such as a CVS a Rite Aid and so forth.
But nowhere does WKBK even question his numbers they simply act like a parrot and repeat repeat repeat.
No different at the Keene sentinel with an article written here just days after this.
Don admitted in his update that numbers looked better for the hospital and things were going down but wow! Look out for that percent of positivity number!
Enter the Keene sentinel.
In an article written just days later. They loudly proclaim that it’s the worst it’s ever been, and they are busting at the seams.
A funny side note here is that the story is all about Cheshire medical and they use the state’s number for percent of positivity and not what Cheshire county has, but again, I say that number is really garbage anyway.
My challenge to all three of them is this. Tell us the TRUTH.
Dearest Don- Tell us how many patients from the beginning were hospitalized only because of Covid and not with Covid.
Tell us – How many comorbidities were involved with the people who have passed away here in Cheshire County.
Tell us what your procedures have been to pre-treat people with Covid before they enter your emergency room to be admitted.
Add this to your community update on Tuesday. Crickets anyone?
Dan Mitchell. If Don tells us the truth on these issues, will you broadcast it? Will you allow his voice to be heard on this? Will you give these things a fair and honest debate on the airways? Commercial break anyone?
Keene Sentinel. Will you do some honest journalistic hard work on this one? Will you do it the old-fashioned way where people knock on doors and push on for answers even if they don’t like what the truth has to say? Will you stop publishing your opinions on the front page as if they are a reporting news story? Will you put in the hard work and seek out the truth and then write your story? Kindling for your wood stove anyone?
I for one am not holding my breath…. With snow and precipitation falling all over the state right now -please try to fleece us with your lies as well.
