I am running for Representative in Cheshire District 15 with three concerns: Freedom, Truth, and Justice.
Cheshire County
The TRUTH Shall Set You Free
I’m a simple man quite honestly. I don’t really need a whole heck of a lot in my life to be happy. I think most of us here in the Granite State feel that way. We go to work, back home to our families, eat our warm dinners and lay down our heads in a comfortable bed.
Steve Negron Wins Cheshire County Republican Reagan-Coolidge BBQ Straw Poll
I went on a New Media excursion out to the Keene State Pavilion at Wilson Pond for the Cheshire County GOP Reagan-Coolidge BBQ. My two favorite presidents. How could I turn it down?
I met some folks, ate a burger, chatted up the locals, and listened to some stump speeches by Republicans running for Congress.
After that, they voted.
Why The Cheshire County Sheriff Did Not just Create a Sanctuary County in New Hampshire
Cheshire County New Hampshire Sheriff Eli Rivera announced this week that his office would not conduct raids for Federal immigration officials. So has Cheshire declared itself a sanctuary County? Hardly.
In the context of the illegal immigration debate a sanctuary town, city, county, or state is a place that will not actively pursue illegal immigrants for deportation, period. But Rivera never says this. He merely points out that he will not enter into any agreement with the feds to do their job for them.
Any representative of ICE requesting our assistance must have an active criminal warrant issued by a judge or must be actively pursuing a criminal investigation that relates to public safety for us to participate.
A New Hampshire Income Tax By Hook or By Crook

Tomorrow there is a hearing (10am – LOB 301) for HB 330. HB 330 would allow any county delegation in New Hampshire to adopt a ‘County Income tax’ to be administered by the New Hampshire Department of Revenue Administration (DRA). HB330 sells its tax as money that would go toward paying for education (public education at government run schools) and who could possibly dare to be against dumping more money into government run education?
