We knew this was coming. Letting biological men compete with women always violated Title IX in our opinion. And now the U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights has found Franklin Pierce University in violation.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Concerned Women for America (CWA) received notice that the U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights (OCR) has resolved CWA’s civil rights complaint in women’s sports against Franklin Pierce University (FPU). OCR agreed with CWA that FPU’s transgender sports participation and inclusion policy is in violation of Title IX, which prohibits discrimination in educational programs and activities, including athletics, on the basis of sex.
Under the Resolution Agreement, the New Hampshire university, a Division II school in the Northeast-10 Conference, “will rescind its Transgender Participation and Inclusion Policy and will cease any and all practices related thereto.” FPU’s policy is similar to current NCAA policy that reportedly is under review and on the agenda for consideration by the Board of Governors at their October meeting later this month.
Franklin Pierce University student Craig Telfer, now Cece Telfer, was an average male athlete before he decided to start identifying and competing as a woman, which allowed him to become a top competitor.

The Franklin Pierce women’s track program is enjoying some unprecedented success. In December, it broke into the national top 25 rankings for the first time. And Telfer is among those leading the way.
The senior is the top women’s competitor in the 55-meter dash and the 55-meter hurdle events, and was named the Most Outstanding Track Athlete at the Northeast-10 Conference Championship event.
Men have a huge advantage over women in sports where competitors with greater speed, strength, and size excel. Everyone used to know this, but many have put it out of their minds in favor of being politically correct.
Thank goodness that the U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights intervened on behalf of women athletes’ rights under Title IX in this case and forced Franklin Pierce University to reverse their policies on transgender athletes. We are looking forward to more universities and high school athletics associations following suit.
