When it was obvious that Tom Brady was leaving the New England Patriots, I predicted he’d become a Los Angeles Charger. That team needed a quarterback and had just moved to L.A. where it would play in the world’s greatest new football stadium.
Joe Biden has promised to replace Cancelled Justice Stephen Breyer with a woman of color. Coming from the likes of him and his party I’m not even sure what the heck that means and neither do they.
Do you know what the real story is? It isn’t about Brady winning without Belichick, it’s about the ratings (Bwahahahahahaha!). Reformatted, emphasis mine:
I know I’m not supposed to watch the NFL, and I don’t. I’ve not watched a televised game in years. But I do check in on the highlights. I’m also supposed to care about the New England Patriots (I do, but they suck this year) and not Tom Brady, who left.
In the midst of the deflate-gate scandal, then-Patriots quarterback Tom Brady switched phones. You’d think the world had ended. He must have destroyed vital data pertinent to the investigation! Boil him in oil, or something. It was ugly. But the entire Mueller team erases their phones and its, meh.
The Teams of the AFC East are cheering. Tom Brady is reportedly leaving New England. Not a surprise to anyone paying attention. He’s looking for a big final payday and New England is not known for that. Especially for a 43-year-old anything, even Tom Brady.
Tom Brady gets a lot of attention. Outside New England, folks might think he gets too much. But closer to home a Rhode Island Professor’s claims his popularity is not based on skill or success. It’s his whiteness.
