Yesterday, I had to go the State House on a personal matter. Seeing that I had to wait to complete that errand, why not spend the time wisely? With the coverage that the Grok has spent on the Voter ID / fraud issue here in NH since the James O’Keefe / Project Veritas video that showed how easy it would be to commit voter fraud on Prez Primary day here in NH, after figuring out what hearings were going on, it was easy to decide.
The NH Senate held hearings on two bills concerning Voter ID: SB 289 and SB318. While the Legislature has been concerned with this issue for over decade, the James O’Keefe / Project Veritas video has raised the issue much higher then normal in terms of ideology, media attention, and political wrangling.
For SB289, Senator Prescott worked on a number of amendments to a previous bill dealing with the issue – this is his testimony to the Senate committee that will be deciding / voting on those same amendments:
There are MANY more clips coming dealing with the testimonies given for both bills – and yes, I had to wait a long time to complete my errand.
