The news is everywhere. Israel has launched strikes inside Iran, both sides reporting the targets are military and strategic, top-level military personnel, nuclear sites, nuclear scientists, ICRG commanders, all in the name of self-defense 9so says Israel).
Mr. Trump has stated we’re not involved. He is still calling for a deal with Iran on nuclear energy (not weapons).
Secretary of State Rubio affirmed that the US is not part of the strikes but The Times of Israel is contradicting that narrative.
Mr. Trump insists that it is a massive waste of blood and treasure to be part of something like this in those regions. So, is this the blob?
We shared speculation last week that the blob provided strategic data for Ukraine’s attack inside Russia. This is information Ukraine was not equipped to have or to collect on its own. And while any of the Five Eyes countries could have assisted it, the detail and coordination are suspiciously competent for it to have happened without CIA assistance.

Mr. Trump wanted peace, so his hand seemed unlikely in either of these direct actions against adversaries.
And the timing is interesting.
We have nationwide protests looming that appear likely, if not premeditated, to become violent. Right-wing media have been panting over the funding schemes and back money channels leading to groups coordinating the so-called protests, especially in Los Angeles.
I’d bet some of that money the CIA is involved, along with the as yet unremoved fungus clinging to the FBO and other dank corners of the Intelligence establishment.
Can anyone say domestic terrorist attacks?
Don’t be surprised by any of that.
- The IDF announced it had killed the Commander of the IRGC’s Air Force, Amir Ali Hajizadeh
- A Hezbollah official said the terror group to the north of Israel will stay out the conflict between Israel and Iran.
- [Sky News] Mr Netanyahu said the strikes hit Iran’s main nuclear enrichment site, the Natanz atomic facility, and targeted Iran’s leading nuclear scientists.
- [Sky News] The IDF also said three of Iran’s most senior military commanders were killed: Hossein Salam, Gholam Ali Rashid and Mohammad Hossein Bagheri.
- [NYT] Threats to U.S. facilities: This week, the United States withdrew diplomats from Iraq, Iran’s neighbor to the west, and authorized the voluntary departure of the family members of U.S. military personnel from the Middle East.
- [NYT] Oil prices rise: Crude oil prices jumped sharply following the Israeli attack, with Brent crude jumping 9 percent to nearly $78 a barrel
- [CNN] Iranian state television and state-affiliated media said the Natanz nuclear site was struck in a missile attack.
It seems likely Israel called Trump to let the US know (so they could protect US assets), but how much more involvement was there, by whom, and who knew?
The blog wants war, the Military Industrial Complex wants it. The swamp and the neocons want it, and you don’t wrestle that monster to the ground and leash it in a short five months.
I’d be looking for evidence of coordination reported by the Times of Israel somewhere inside the US political machine and behind Mr. Trump’s back.
Everything is developing.
