I recently reported on news that China was quickly swirling down the economic drain as Trump’s big, beautiful tariffs did the work they were meant to do. War by other means, as already, “high unemployment and rising costs force [China] to address the threat of millions of Chinese milling about in misery with nothing to do but blame the government.”
It was also reported that China had secretly begun to cave to Trump’s demands, and is this why? Chinese Workers suffering from cuts in hours, wages, and jobs have taken to the streets. [Related: Trump Turns Dems Into Free Traders]
The wave of unrest follows a brutal plunge in China’s export orders, now at their lowest since the COVID lockdowns. Goldman Sachs estimates up to 16 million Chinese jobs could vanish as Trump’s tariffs bite deeper into the regime’s weak underbelly.
Trump said the tariffs placed on China are having their intended effect.
“They were making from us a trillion dollars a year. They were ripping us off like nobody’s ever ripped us off,” he stated. “They’re not doing that anymore.”
While impressive, China’s absolute hold on power would never survive a truly national revolution of the people. No, I don’t think this will rise to that, but consider the ramifications. That idiot Donald Trump and his inflation-hiking tariff plan [this is the elites, talking, not me] are going to ruin the lives of working-class Americans.
About 90 countries have lined up to discuss deals allowing Trump to raise the sun and maintain the trade balance.
Countries that are pissy, like China, have to focus on the internal problems that exist, which Trump’s tariffs have exposed. China will have to cave, and America will benefit.
Then there’s Canada. That nation is an economic mess and doomed if it does not a) make a deal with the US and b) tap its vast energy deposits to save what’s left of its economy.
Yes, that 51st state thing, while bad for the US, Canada is full of squealing liberals, might be more realistic than anyone ever imagined.
