Who is promising security and government taking care of you, and who is talking about Liberty and the ability to choose for yourself?
The latter is Liberty by self-responsibility and self-governance (starting with yourself); the former ends with a tyranny, not by a gun, but by a bureaucracy (but either remove choice)
