…from Steve’s ‘New Hampshire Needs an Income Tax” as it is SO true in my dealings with them and the same thing appears to be the same State wide. It’s almost, like, well, er…they’ve formed a group and they all collude together to screw the taxpayers (oh WAIT, there IS such a group!):

I served on my town’s Budget Committee for several years, and a couple of years as Chairman. While we struggled with individual departments in the town over their practices and requests, the town itself — even under some bad leadership — was still pretty even keeled, budget wise. But the struggles we had with the town were nothing compared to the annual struggle with the school district.

As to Gov. Chris “Supporting the Democrat Agenda Identity Group politics against the NH GOP” in signing HB1319, I was asked earlier today:

Where do you stand?

Answer: It demands coerced speech and behavior from those that do not believe that a man can simply announce that he is a woman and MUST refer to him as such (contra our lying eyes). It now sets up transgenders as a whole as yet another special interest group, another “protected class” that now has “elevated” privileges not available to the general public. With Sununu’s signature of Friday, they have risen to the top of the Progressive Identity Totem Pole ranking at least for the weekend (as that ranking seems to change every few minutes than a pachinko ball changes its direction; said ranking seems to be in constant flux based on the “political opportunity” at hand and it is their club.).

It also places half the population, females, into a lowered status physically; the two examples are from Connecticut and Texas where trans girls winning girls’ state championships simply because they announced they are now girls and not boys. What is the fairness in that? Is it the goal, for Political Correctness / Cultural Marxism reasons, to wipe out any commonsense differences between the two sexes? After all, you can’t call it a “social construct” on one hand and “Patriarchy” on the other at the same time.

NH Progressive Senators on school nurses- “local control is fine” (but only as long as you agree with us!)

State Senate refuses to roll back school nurse requirements

NH State Senator Woodburn basically just said exactly that about who controls the standards for school nurses:

“We need to have school nurses who are on top of the details and know what’s going on,” said Sen. Jeff Woodburn, D-Whitefield, in opposition to the rollback. “We settled this issue last year. The policy has been set. We need to keep the policy and not be flip-flopping all over the place every two years.”

Yet, when it comes to guns on school properties, these same Progressive Democrats were some upset that they didn’t get their way with NH State Senator Hennessey’s amendment to allow local School Boards, wern’t they? You see, they KNOW that most School Boards, being one of the foxholes that defend the Liberal mantras, would agree with them and carry out the NH Senate Democrats in banning guns on their premises. So LET them have control, we BELIEVE in local control!

Yeah, right – until they don’t.

HB1279 – “AN ACT relative to voting rights of certain budget committee members”

From the text of the bill (actually, this is pretty much most of it): 1 Budget Committee Membership. Amend RSA 32:15, I(b) to read as follows:

(b) One member of the governing body of the municipality and, if the municipality is a town, one member of the school board of each school district wholly within the town and one [~~member~~] commissioner of each village district wholly within the town, all of whom shall be appointed by their respective boards to serve for a term of one year and until their successors are qualified. Each such member shall serve as a non-voting member and may be represented by an alternate member designated by the respective board, who shall, when sitting, have the same authority as the regular member.

While I was in Concord this week, I ran into ‘Grok, friend NH State Rep. Mark Warden, who is one of the sponsors of the bill and asked him “why the changes for SB2 Budget Committee?” since I have been an elected BudComm member in my hamlet for the past 6 years. Note: never again will I do an interview in a stairwell – apologies for the poor audio – but that was the only place we could find with decent lighting and a lack of foot traffic):
