When the Biden Administration recently announced a record $42 billion investment in broadband internet, it was pitched as an investment in rural and underserved communities. A new study, however, found many of these funds went to wealthy, urban areas because of a questionable allocation methodology, according to Fox News.

I found the story about the acquisition of a “no-till seeder” by Belknap County for the shared use by farmers to be quite rich — perhaps comical if it wasn’t so maddening. Hopefully, the county won’t lose track of THIS one and let it rot like the last one they had.

This is so wasteful and stupid: Using police resources to benefit taxi cab companies.

The Manchester police dept. proudly announced a “sting operation” conducted last Friday to “nab 5 criminals.” The crimes? A few people gave rides to other people and got a few bucks in return. You can read the entire crime-busting story in the Union Leader HERE. Wow.
Why is this waste of thousands of dollars of police time allowed? Really only to benefit the two companies holding the government-created taxi monopoly. These are nothing more than economic scams, set up to benefit one or two favored companies while harming the public and denying the right to individual choice.
