Governor Lynch is all about his success at reducing Drop Out rates in New Hampshire. That’s the number of high school age kids who leave school without graduation or achieving a recognized equivalent. He even has a goal. New Hampshire will have a zero percent drop out rate by 2012. And based on the available data, I think he will succeed, but not in reducing actual “drop outs” to zero.
John Lynch could only win re-election with the help of Republicans and independents and so he did. So are they all liberals in denial, or just a bunch of suckers? Someone fell for the lies about the budget. They believed the liberals and their RINO agitators who sold them on a $70 million dollar surplus while the state was still trying to rob the JUA and sell off property. Never occurred to ask why the state needed to spend taxpayer money on lawsuits and litigation to steal money from the JUA when they claimed to have a "surplus?"
I asked that question often.
But when votes showed up in adequate numbers to take every branch of government with a super majority of Republicans, they still left the little governor that could. Suckers.
We are suckers because on November third, as if by magic, the surplus smoke screen cleared to reveal the wreckage of years of democrat majority rule. Now that the election is over we have a budget crisis again.
Cathy Silber of the very partisan (so-called non-partisan) GSFTC began early by trying to sell the solution for our resurrected funding woes on a more modern revenue structure. (Sales and income taxes if you didn’t know.) Every major democrat began talking about the challenges of dealing with a Republican majority and our budget situation–and how it might affect services. And now John Lynch admits we have a huge problem.
Have? We always had this problem! And we have it because John Lynch let the democrat majority spend and spend, then used gimmicks and one time money to hide it, and now it is time to pay.
When will we learn?
There’s something you might want to keep in mind about the state level Democrat wind machine as we move forward toward 2012. It has been their practice to ignore their own out of state campaign dollars as they attack anyone or anything on the Republican side with even the most tenuous connection to influence from outside the state. Even the governor has stood up and declared that he is against the influence of money from outside the state, while hundreds of thousands have poured into his pockets from places farther and wider than the political borders of the Granite State. But that’s all superficial by comparison to this.
How do governor Lynch, Chairman Buckley, presumptive democrat candidates for 2012 at every level, the whole of the democrat party, even their RINO sympathizers, explain why they embrace massive infusions of out of state money and all the disruptive influence it has at the state and local level…from the federal government?
Taking a page from the John Lynch Playbook, the Federal Reserve is planning to buy 500 billion in treasury bonds. This is the Federal Government taking money from it’s right pocket, putting it in its’ left pocket, then putting it back in the right pocket, and claiming to have 500 billion more to spend.
A vote for John Lynch is a vote for Obamacare. John Lynch has not demonstrated any interest in protecting the state of New Hampshire from federal meddling of any kind. A balanced budget is a technical term for making the numbers add up. The amount you say you have to spend simply matches what you claim to have spent. So if you borrowed some millions that you would later have to pay back, and you found a few hundred million more on the sidewalk (maybe in Washington DC), if it added up far enough to cover how much you spent, you could claim to have a balanced budget.
The difference is that being at zero, and owing tens of millions you never had is not balanced. Add to that the reality that you now have a larger bill to pay every year but can’t expect to just find a few hundred million laying around every year, and you have what is called a structural deficit. Your political lifestyle vastly exceeds your expected revenue. Call it a state wide mortgage that exceeds our ability to pay it by hundreds of millions annually.
This is called incompetent. It is also the Lynch budget. And even though an account or two may have pulled in more revenue than expected, there is still a massive debt due in the next budget, created by democrats, and signed off on by John Lynch, with no money to pay for it..
Why else proceed in contradiction to the supreme court, on the politically poisonous path of robbing $110 million in private property unless you really need that 110 million to start stuffing the sink hole of a massive structural deficit. And even if you get this one time money, where’s the line of suckers you plan to screw after you are done with them?
If we had a real surplus they wouldn’t need to rob the JUA fund. They would drop the idea of selling off 60 million in state land. In fact, they’d stop all the hand-wringing about the budget. They have not. The deficit is real. And the democrats are to blame, and John Lynch and it is one more reason why John Lynch has been the governor for too long.

Here’s the latest law enacted by our Governor and our ship-of-fools Democratic legislature in Concord: They just passed, and Lynch just signed, a law that forces business owners to reward employee theft! Ain’t that grand? What a great idea from the geniuses in Concord!
