We’ve written a few articles about electric vehicles (140), electric cars (170), EVs, EV incentives, plots, plans, and more. There will be some overlap, but none of that reporting is favorable or glowing. But I’m not sure we ever covered this angle quite like this.
I’ve been waiting for those personal flying machines since Edgar Rice Burrows wrote in the 1950s about the “9th ray.” And again, since the 1970s for an electric car that might be better, and more cost-efficient than the internal combustion engine (ICE).
The Left coast is obsessed with greening the grid and mandating electric vehicles, neither of which is compatible with the other, the promised goals, or life in America. It is a problem.

It is no secret that California is a mess. Crime, Disease, poverty, homelessness, and that was before COVID or the riots. The green energy also has rolling blackouts due to insufficient electric power, so what’s the next logical step? Prohibit any vehicle that is not electric.

Back in 2008 when I was talking about how cars like the Prius were not nearly as environmentally friendly as the greens and Democrats let on because the manufacturing process for the battery system was so hostile to the environment. That process erased any benefits you might achieve during use.
