The Climate Cult’s Green Meanines have been blaming increased atmospheric CO2 for everything, including wildfires—and there is (sort of, kind of) a connection. Arsonists are starting fires when none begin on their own, and then the media and activists blame that on rising CO2.
It was inevitable. My yard is still damp with March and April showers (and muddy in places), and the Fire department says the Fire Danger is High. Okay. We’ve also got reports of wildfires in Canada (are the arsonists starting early this year?), and me with my mud season decorations still up. What the heck!

The leading cause of wildfires™ is arson, which means they are man-made and even (technically) a result of man-made “warming,” but not in the way the Climate Cult would have you believe. An Arsonist can still drive his EV past the wind farm to set the woods aflame.

Maine is a beautiful state, but as it leans increasingly left (politically) before long, “pretty” might be the only thing it has going. That, and they don’t appear to suffer from a lot of natural disasters (again, assuming increased Democrat control of government does not qualify).
Electric vehicles cost more to insure. Minor accidents can result in damage that makes the vehicle unsafe or unrepairable. A parking lot fender bender could “total” your so-called green vehicle. But that’s not the only insurance cost driving up the price of EV ownership.

I’m not sure this qualifies as man-made in the religious sense of climate change, but men made the powerlines that some locals captured on video—sparking, popping, followed by fire, which the high winds then took for a devastating ride.
The most destructive natural disasters are never 100 percent natural. Human choices, land use, and government policies play a big role in how harmful hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, flash floods, and wildfires are to the affected communities.
The Maui wildfires are devastating and greatly saddening. My wife and I visited Lahaina’s old town just last year in November. It was a quaint, cute little European-style town center that felt straight out of Brussels or London.
