NH House – 225 Republicans (A 50 Seat Majority)

Well, I was not expecting that number! I’ve been wondering what the final result was for the 400 member NH House of Representatives. Just before I started to go looking around, this just came in from the School District Governance Association of NH (THE Conservative alternative to the NH School Board Association) talking about NH Reps that won their races AND are also members of the SDGANH.

So, as I write this today (11/7):

We had an outstanding 2024 Election Day in the Granite State!

In the NH legislature, current projections show we will have strong statehouse majorities in the 2025-2026 NH House and Senate along with Governor-Elect Kelly Ayotte:

  • NH House: 225 Republicans to 175 Democrats — incredible 50 seat majority!
  • NH Senate: 16 Republicans to 8 Democrats — two-thirds supermajority!

Congratulations to all of the election winners and especially to our legislators that are SDGA members:

  • Representative Louis Andros
  • Representative-Elect Liz Barbour
  • Representative Harry Bean
  • Representative-Elect Pam Brown
  • Representative Riché Colcombe
  • Representative Glenn Cordelli
  • Representative-Elect Lisa Freeman
  • Representative Greg Hill
  • Representative Jim Kofalt
  • Representative-Elect Don McFarlane
  • Representative Diane Pauer
  • Representative Susan Porcelli
  • Representative Lisa Post
  • Representative Kelley Potenza
  • Representative John Sellers
  • Representative Vanessa Sheehan
  • Representative Len Turcotte
  • Representative Kevin Verville

We are looking forward to a productive two-year legislative session in 2025-2026.

Regards,
Eric

So, back to my favorite election meme (yes, my creation), especially with a 50-seat majority (will it be RINO-proof???):

Winning is merely a precursor; it’s what you do AFTERWARDS that is most important!
