Dan is a military veteran with exemplary naval service. He was proud to serve tours on multiple nuclear submarines, including active engagement in the Persian Gulf in the wake of 9/11. He also did research and development for U.S. and foreign combat control systems, oversaw the building of a new class submarine and training of the crews, and served as an engineering technician for the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.
As a Dover resident, Dan has been active in the community through youth sports by coaching, volunteering, and holding various board member positions for youth hockey. Currently, Dan serves as the Vice Commander at Post 8 American Legion in Dover and as the Child and Youth Coordinator at Post 8.
Issues Dan wishes to address:
- Student-Centered Education, let’s get Parents back in the driver’s seat about their child’s education
- Protecting Women’s Sports, I believe this is a common sense issue that needs some type of compromise to ensure our young women/girls can compete against other women/girls to retain an equal playing field
- Keeping NH Clean and Safe, Dover needs to hit our drug problem head-on while ensuring that our public health/safety is not in jeopardy while using public spaces
- Limited Government overreach: Let’s get unnecessary governance and regulations out of NH to allow small businesses to thrive.
