I was pondering what to write about when it occurred to me that we had not yet had our annual fearmongering over Triple E: Eastern Equine Encephalitis. Unless I missed it and I’ve been Johnny-on-the-spot all year with the latest thing.
We had the not-so-catastrophic rise in tick bites, Hantavirus, Ebola, Tick bites again (Lone Star/ Alpha-gal syndrome). Clyclosporiasis. And my wife just called me on her way to work to express some outrage over why they are advertising COVID vaccines and that you need one.
That could be the greatest public health threat of 2026, especially since your SUV’s, Crossovers, heavy-duty trucks, and air conditioning appear to have neutered the Atlantic hurricane season. But they told us it would make all of that worse.
We’re at peak climate-cult outrage at the peak time of the year for the things, and there are none.
No cyclones, no tropical storms, not a damn thing.
Don’t be surprised, but while you are responsible for the bad weather, the lack of it? That’s nature.
Zero Atlantic hurricanes in 2026. Not just none all year, but none when we see them most.
The Pacific has had a few, so the outrage moved out west, but no one really cares (except Hawaii, thanks to Typhoon Lowell). Quite the mess. But that’s not your fault, and neither were more or fewer ticks, hantavirus, Ebola, or the rest of it.
So, what’s the next progressive outrage most likely to be?
Eastern equine encephalitis. Only one case reported in 2026, in Michigan.
Jamestown Canyon Virus? Only two cases in 2026, also in Michigan.
There were also many reported (alleged, presumed) cases of cyclosporiasis in Michigan. Might be Gretchen Whitmer’s fault.
There was an E. coli outbreak linked to frozen blueberries, but that caused a few cases of fever or diarrhea. No one needs to change their profile picture to blueberries.
How about Ukraine? Does anyone even remember that place exists? War weariness abounds, as do the advances in attack drone technology, but not much else. It used to be the biggest deal among progressives, but no, why just walk around with 8647 signs pretending to defend democracy, and that’s it, isn’t it?
The greatest public health threat, not to mention a threat to everything else in 2026, is the source of progressive outrage. Democrats. Subsets may be more dangerous (Antifa, BLM, Black Panthers, Trantifa, Gaystapo, Liberal women generally, teachers’ union bosses, the DSA), but they all pray to the same secular god (themselves), want the same endgame (socialism/communism), and proselytize under the Democrat Party banner.
Biggest threat.
And that’s true when it comes to public safety, crime, national defense, the economy, privacy, bodily autonomy, natural rights, and especially public health. And not just the continued pimping of the COVID jabs and all the diseases and illnesses attributed to them. Progressive public policy is responsible for the rise in third-world diseases in America. They opened the border. Invited them here, didn’t bother to vet or test them, and look what we got back after almost entirely stomping it out.

- Dengue
There are more, including Monkeypox, added risk of HIV spread, and so on. During Obama, they tried to blame it on climate change, but it was policy change. It got worse under Biden, and Trump has stopped the leaky border problem and is working on policy to test legal immigrants as well as remove those here illegally (along with their diseases, which appear to include rape, murder, serial fraud, and every other kind of crime).
Democrats are not just responsible for all of that; they continue to defend it (sanctuary cities and states, where most of the drug addicts, homeless, and street poop/rat borne diseases thrive). The Anti-ICE movement is a multi-front affront to public health (crime and disease).
While PA Gov. Shapiro was getting hyperbolic about measles, he left out how his party brought in all the people, untested and unvaccinated, who have been spreading it. That was supposed to be the next thing, but Shapiro jumped the shark.
The same thing happened with “The Trade War with Canada.’ That’s already imploding for a story the media can’t cover honestly, to one it can’t cover at all.
It’s Democrats this year, and every year, and the disease gets more virulent the longer it is allowed to grasp at power. The latest variant actually admits they are socialists who want to destroy America.
Inoculate yourself by voting against them. Just do it. Keep them out of office at every opportunity. And pass that wisdom down to future generations. Your children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren will thank you.
