A funny thing happened on the way to the California Gubernatorial Debate. It had to be canceled. Why, with ten candidates vying to be the top two contenders for the office, would they cancel that debate? There are ten candidates. The Local ABC affiliate is hosting, along with the University of Southern California (USC). The organizers decided that six candidates would be sufficient, and they would choose the ones with the best polling or who had raised the most money.
That’s common, but this is California. A Blue state because of its large cities that dominate over all the red rural areas, pining for separation. Democrats run everything, all the time, and that explains why the state, while a beautiful place with some amazing people, is a socialist-Democrat shit hole politically, economically, and in more ways than we could count without getting way off theme.
My point is that despite it being blue and woke, and the remaining two Republicans and four Democrats filled the top six seats, the four Dems who got left out were all people of color. The four Dems who were included based on polling were all white.
The top six candidates according to the polls are Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Communist China), who happens to be white; former Rep. Katie Porter (D-Bad Boss), who happens to be white; and Tom Steyer (D-Ching-Ching), who happens to be… you get the picture.
Two Republicans also made the cut: Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco (white) and former Fox News commentator Steve Hilton (white). Since he raised the most money of any candidate, San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan, backed by tech bros and Silicon Valley, made the cut as well, (white).
Eight Democrats, four white, four “of color,” and California preferred the four white Democrats, at least that’s what the polls tell us.
Were this a red state, we already know the drill, but only if it were Republicans. New Hampshire Democrats have had multiple opportunities to run people of color for Congress in both districts. They even had the opportunity to run a person of color in NH CD2, which, having been slowly poisoned by Blue Vermont, is an easier seat to keep. In every case, they ran pasty white Dems, picked by their pasty white voters in primaries and generals.
They’ve got another opportunity in CD-1 as pasty white Chris Pappas is running for US Senate, and I’d bet money they will pick some white chick, and no one will cry racism because they’ve never cried it before, even when Republicans ran several people of color who lost to the pasty white Democrat.
New Hampshire Democrats are racists, which is no surprise because they want to be like California, which is an even better reason not to vote for them. But that’s only California’s problem because political-class Democrats, the activists, the ones who run and win public office, are the same everywhere.
They pretend to care about people of color to steal their votes, then treat them the same way they treat everyone else. Like crap. But they pretend, and they are woke, which is why they had to cancel the debate. Six white guys on television and four of them pretending to care about people of color was just too much for even woke, virtue-signaling Democrats.
