We don’t have much in the way of big city misery in the Granite State, but some of what we do have comes to us from Massachusetts. Democrats escaping the policies they voted for take up residence and then proceed to poison our watering holes. Some of them even run as Republicans who, according to the Republican Party, we are not supposed to criticize.
We can proudly say we’ve been up front with the big FU on that. You wander off the plantation, and you get treated like the Democrats, who are rarely in the right place on anything. Take Sanctuary cities. If they had a barn on a farm once owned by (say) Mr. Jones, they would write this on the side.
“Harbor and protect criminals, foreign or domestic.”
This anti-public safety, anti-public peace stance is evident everywhere Democrats have control. Their policies exacerbate the misery, which they then use to collect more revenue and consolidate power, none of which is used to ease suffering.
If someone with a lawful obligation to protect those people shows up, obstruct them, hide the criminals, use whatever avenues exist to prevent their arrest or, in the case of illegals, deportation. So, these are literally the people in your Sanctuary City neighborhood.
ICE operation Patriot 2.0 just rounded up 1400 criminal aliens in Massachusetts and Boston. Those arrested include,
- An El Salvadoran citizen convicted of indecent assault and assault to rape.
- A Brazilian with criminal pending charges including rape.
- An Indian national with pending charges for battery on a person over 14.
- A Laotian convicted of second-degree murder, and a Turkish national with pending charges for kidnapping.
- Three of the arrested individuals were suspected or known terrorists.
Under Patriot 2.0, law enforcement targeted criminal illegal immigrants known to operate in and around Boston as well as throughout Massachusetts.
Some of them were affiliated with transnational criminal organizations such as Tren de Aragua, Trinitarios, MS-13, and 18th Street gangs, said the agency.
Among the criminal illegals arrested as part of Patriot 2.0, 277 were previously ordered to be removed from the United States by a Department of Justice immigration judge, ICE said.
There are thousands more, and they are not all violent, but they are here illegally, and removing the cartels, drug peddlers, human traffickers, rapists, and murderers may result in some of them being scooped up and deported in part for sheltering criminals who are also illegal aliens (which is a crime), but because they broke the law when they didn’t do it the right way themselves. That doesn’t always mean bad guys. Sometimes it includes people who claim to want to be the good guys. Radule Bojovic, an illegal alien from Montenegro, overstayed his tourist visa, which expired in 2015.
Despite Bojovic’s status as an illegal alien, the Village of Hanover Park alleged to ABC News that it’d hired him “in full compliance with federal and state law” and “confirmed that he was legally authorized by the federal government to work in the United States.”
“The bottom line is that all information we received from the federal government indicated that Officer Bojovic is legally authorized to work in the United States as a police officer,” the village said.
“Clearly, without that authorization, the Village would not have hired him. Additionally, the Village has not received any notice from any federal or state agency that his work authorization status has ever been revoked,” the village’s statement continued.
He came in under Obama, decided to stay, and the deep state misled a local burg into thinking he could serve as a police officer. And he may well have been a good one, but if he wants the job back, he needs to get in line and follow the laws passed by Congress for foreigners who seek to reside in the US.
Period.
The Democrats want it both ways, especially on immigration, a matter they vociferously deferred to the Feds when it was convenient but now obstruct when it is not. That is, in itself, a crime, and we need to see more arrests, and I’m not sure what we’re waiting for. They want to be martyrs to the cause, but only because they don’t expect to do more than burnish their résumés.
Get them before a federal judge who will expedite their right to a speedy trial and put them behind bars, in a real prison. A new neighborhood that houses some of the violent criminals they love so much.
