MacDonald: The Party Neither of Democracy Nor Rule of Law

Dems Got Crimaliens, Beta Males in Girls Sports, Neutering Children, and what …Treason?

Democrats stopped protecting ‘Democracy’ years ago and have long since worked diligently to undermine it while claiming to be its champion. This will sound familiar to minorities and women. Students, too, and not just in urban districts. Education and Democracy, viewed from the left, are tongue-pierced French-kissing cousins. Failed institutions that consume vast amounts of resources to protect special interests that exist to protect the Democrat party that protects them.

Any effort to decouple this graft machine from the laundromat that turns tax dollars into wealthy liberals is anti-education or undemocratic. This includes higher education, by which I mean more pretentious and occasionally more expensive, but not always or by much.

To add insult to injury, the Democrat party has long frowned on primaries, ignores its primary voters if they get too interested in the wrong candidate, removes leadership chosen by delegates for any reason that suits them, and allows elites to thwart the will of its rank and file when it comes to their candidates for president.

Elections are rigged when they lose, and election law or transparency are distractions, pandering to tin-foil hat conspiracies when they win

We should not forget about the uncontrollable impulse to move every responsibility and how it gets funded as far from the people affected as possible [see also: oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder, and intermittent explosive disorder].

To borrow from Suzanne Collins’ Hunger Games trilogy, the final form of the modern Democrat party looks a lot like “The Capitol” in the movie adaptation. Rainbow-hair-colored freaks. Pretentious piecred, coifed cat people, and the tyranny that sustains them. All of it.

This is why we call that party Democrat and not Democratic, because it isn’t, nor shall it ever again be (if ever it was) about true democracy, at least in a Constitutional Republic.

Yes, because people can’t stop themselves from saying it, pure democracy is mob rule. And elections are just another institution that the Marxists need you to grow weary of under the penalty of censorship and a dent to your social credit score from which you can never recover if you refuse.

Democrats are likewise not interested in rules or laws (or Constitutions, not that many in elected office are) unless invoking them provides some advantage until they can be dispensed with entirely. And there is no form of rule by the left hand that is not based on dispensations for crimes for which it punishes its opponents, or more importantly, everyone who isn’t them.

Democrat wastelands, doing business as America’s once-magnificent cities, are perfect examples. The template for their version is a dirty bottle into which they’d like us all stuffed, and surveilled, complete with every manner of crime in convenient 15-minute ghettoes. Crimes they can’t be bothered to police or punish. A street-level state of fear and chaos where favored groups like Antifa are free to operate as long as it advances the Left’s agenda and silences actual dissent. Those few who are arrested are released without bail and never pursued because they are on the right side of breaking the law.

On the larger stage, we see this across parties, but the leaders of the two-tiered system of justice are the Democrats, who may have found themselves in another Trump trap. After years of lawfare against the man as both President and not, and the nearly endless refrain of “no one is above the law” to justify these precedent setting attacks, high-ranking and prominent members of the Democrat party, people who became heroes for taking on Trump in court, in and out of office, are confronted with what appear to be actual crimes.

From Letitia James to Adam Schiff, Comey, Clapper, and now Obama, Americans who voted for a return to the rule of law are sitting up in their seats. Charges and accusations are being directed at the elites, as obscure as Jerome Powell (who heads the Fed). The pampered princes, our biological betters, are under suspicion of everything from perjury to fraud to treason, and the evidence looks good, and here lies the rub.

The party of Democracy that’s not, which screeched like sirens about nobody being above the law, is faced with the thin gruel of claiming partisan retribution when that was precisely what they did to Trump and those in his orbit for nearly a decade: broadsides based on lazy interpetations, wishful thinking, or outright lies, many of which survive as urban legends on platforms like BlueSky.

And it is not just a Democrat Problem. TL Davis, over on his Substack, writes,

One must go after the left as if they were a virus that must be tracked down and annihilated, leaving no stone unturned or mercy given. …

For heaven’s sake, we can’t even imprison known and proud traitors still on the morning show circuit. But that’s all part of the ultimate weakness of the foundations of an utterly destroyed republic, the ashes of which maintain their form, but without substance. Any strong wind could expose the edifice for what it is, a thin veneer of authority masking the rotten core.

As long as those involved in the Russia hoax remain free, we are living in an illusion that will soon evaporate when reality once again proves its irresistible nature.

DOJ and Team Trump need to do more than race toward the vault; they have to stick the landing. If actual treason is unpunishable or unpunished, there’s not much left worth fighting for. Someone needs to go to jail, and the more of them the better.

Trump just accused Obama of Treason from the Oval Office in a room full of foreign officials and Cabinet members, so the game is on.

Can they send a signal so strong that the Georgetown aristocracy stands slack-jawed in unison, at the implication? No one is above the law, and that includes Deep State toadies, swampy appointees, and the Democrats and RINOs whom they aid and abet.

Republicans of the invertebrate variety take note.

But would arresting Obama give the Democrat Party a new purpose? What it currently defends is abhorrent or criminal to most average Americans, and its excuses are growing weaker by the day. How then do Dems, with the words of their own heroes on their lips, explain away the evidence of fraud, perjury, or even treason against America? A growing case that the party claiming to defend democracy actively fomented treason against the people’s chosen leader in 2016.

They will try, and the media, whose credibility is in worse shape, will continue to spread the poison, but at what cost? Democrats are struggling for an identity as their lies about democracy and law are exposed before the electorate. While the majority of people in the middle want to be left alone, how do they turn their heads away from the enormous and growing multi-car pileup that is the current state of the Democrat party in America?

I don’t think they can.

All while the institutions Democrats have been protecting are dismantled to rounds of applause for having so publicly failed us, exposed as conduits of fraud and abuse that enrich the enlightened-left at our expense.

And let’s face it, the number of people still willing to support mutilating kids trapped in underperforming schools filled with non-English speaking unaccompanied alien minors isn’t growing. They need a new grift. And how violent are they willing to get to protect the old one, and what is America prepared to do when the tantrum comes?

They know what insurrection means, but is it time to die for the cause? Is this the corner they will try to fight their way out of? Is there enough deep-state left for a real coup, and will Americans stand still for it?

I don’t think so on every count, but Proglodytes are not nearly as smart as they think they are, and meaner than most people realize.

To borrow once more from Hill Street Blues’ Sgt. Esterhause, “Let’s be careful out there.”
