When your entire identity and agenda are defined by someone like Donald Trump, RFKJ, and, for a brief moment, Elon Musk, the one thing external observers need to understand is why? The easy answer is that they don’t stand for anything but their own misinterpretations of what someone else is doing, followed by projections of doom that never seem to come true.
You are Chicken Little, in pursuit of attention or relevancy defined by whoever is living rent-free in whatever passes for your mind. A point that DHHS Sec. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. made an appearance on Tucker Carlson recently.
Democrats do not define themselves by what they believe or some policy agenda whose implementation will benefit Americans. They have become the people who are against whatever Republicans and Trump are for. They are the living embodiment of memes people create to make fun of them in real life. Donald Trump should be against X so Democrats will be forced to support it. He does, and they do. There is nothing about the Left’s political priorities that isn’t mapped out in response to whatever Republicans do.
Eliminate wasteful federal money laundering fronts, and Democrats protest and demand that we protect them and need them. Republicans try to eliminate illegal access by millions to billions of tax dollars they are not entitled to through Social Security and Medicaid, and Democrats demand that you put them back. Similarly, they are defending a program that makes hospitals and unscrupulous states rich through fraud, while reducing access to legitimate Medicare recipients. You try to deport violent illegal alien criminals, and Dems insist it will unfairly remove non-violent illegals, as if more crime and violence is the price we must pay for not deporting people who are here illegally but not violent.
It’s comical, and Republicans need to follow Trump’s lead on this locally and at the State level. You are living rent-free in their heads, and with limited time and effort. Everything America voted for, they oppose, so work on that.
