Barry Obama burst onto the scene about as green as a politician can be. He had almost no experience with government or much else. But he wasn’t ugly, he could speak well, and he was black. Hillary Clinton never had much of a chance. Her party swooned. He was the LA Times’ magic Negro. “The first mainstream African-American,” according to oe biden, “who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.”
He ran on (false) hope and a plan to fundamentally transform America, but after more than a Decade of trying, America decided it wasn’t working for them.
Obama took every bit of progress in race relations and burned it to the ground. He divided the country in ways we’d not seen in decades and even gave us Joe Biden, who would have never been seriously considered for anything but retirement from the US Senate if not for Barry. His administration weaponized and armed Executive branch agencies and spied on everyone, including members of Congress, our allies, members of the press, and candidates for President. It was to be the Left’s new normal.
The IRS used its power to suppress opposition groups and leaked donor lists to Democratic activists so they could doxx and harass them.
His Congress, with a Democrat majority for his first two years, immediately doubled executive branch budgets and put the government between you and your doctor, contrary to the marketing claims of ObamaCare. And Barry’s tenure was the beginning of a new age of violent left-wing revolution.
He also, ironically, militarized local police while trying to drag them under Federal control. You can’t properly terrorize a populace with your police state if you don’t control local police.
His DOJ funded activist groups through lawsuits it more or less invited, so that the government could concede or not contest. Vast sums of taxdollars were laundered into Democrat interests. Obama also officially invited the Muslim Brotherhood to take over the world, from bad Middle Eastern Policy to bad US Policy.
Trump and Republicans, elected by Americans who have had enough, ran on repealing and replacing or just eliminating all of that.
With nothing to run on but not being Trump, fearful that their power has waned, and watching their institutions of abuse get dismantled, they are ready, armed, dangerous, and being goaded to shoot people.
We have come full circle. The Democrat Party of the Ku Klux Klan has now morphed into the party of Antifa, Black Lives Matter, pro-MS13, pro-Hamas, pro-Criminal Illegal Aliens and pro-Abortion Angie’s List.
The Democrat Party is now know as the DeMS13 Party. It has now fully embraced the two totalitarian ideologies of Islam and Marxism.
We have seen the party or JFK fundamentally transformed into the party of Barrack Hussein Obama.
We have seen government grow exponentially under Obama with his ObamaCare mandate.
We have seen govern grow under the Biden administration with the support of the climate change activists, Islamists and Communists in our government.
It was inevitable. Remember, you can’t make the socialist omelet without breaking all the eggs.
Biden was Obama 3.0. The continued fundamental transformation of America. But America pushed back, thanks in part to the heavy-handed response to COVID. It was the Tea Party realignment of 2010 in 2020, which led to the election results of 2022 and finally, 2024.
It resulted in the fundamental transformation of the Democrat party into an intifada loving, Jew Hating, openly Marxist mayoral candidate of New York City. Despite the DNC establishment’s fear of Bernie Sanders’ populism, these are now the mainstream candidates of the radical left. Even the aging socialists are excited to see young socialists proudly promoting policies that will unravel the fabric of America.
They are the party that grooms kids with porn, then mutilates children with drugs or surgery. A party that claims men can be women, then harasses and cancels women who dare to disagree. The party of crime, illegal invasions, street violence, property destruction, rigged elections (Dem primaries are theater), third-world energy transitions, high inflation, and less of everything (while they fly about in private planes telling you that Republicans are a threat to Democracy).
Democrats are still the party of “you did not build that,” and what is yours is actually theirs.
The Democrat Party has been reduced to a guerrilla faction prepared to contest its rejection by starting a revolution to resist the will of the American People—an actual insurrection and shooting at Federal officers and attacking Sheriffs.
Elected Democrats and their enabled street thugs are openly calling for a war, not just of words, but of violent action.
Their allies are Antifa, Islamic thugs, terrorists, militant environmentalists, violent criminal aliens, black radicals, the gaystapo, and factions they’ve used the government to create and fund or to allow into America. The streets are full of disenfranchised folks and generational dependents who exist because of Democrat policy, kindling waiting for a match.
It is Obama’s creation and the last gasp of a movement that can’t find anything to believe in except violence, and they will try to pit you against your neighbor, and they don’t care about innocent casualties. They never did.
What they want and need, as I noted here, is bloodshed they can use to market their violent resistance.
The Trump Administration has been remarkably constrained in its response, from activist judges to attempted assassins, but the left will do anything to set the country on fire. Team Trump has focused on identifying who funds these groups and “protests,” and immediately suppressing the outbreaks, but at some point, there will be a tipping point event.
The question is whether America will continue to be more interested in the potential for peace, economic growth, and liberty, or the violent antics of the party Obama transformed from misguided to dangerous.
