Protecting the Meaning and Value of American Citizenship

by Steve MacDonald

Skip mocked “Da’ Media” whiners who are overwhelmed by the amount of information they’ve been force-fed in the past few days. Boo, frikkin hoo. We’re looking at the same firehouse …with the uncontrolled glee one might express while being gang-tackled … by puppies.

It’s fun.

Every EO does not have to be your favorite, but Jeesh, that’s a lot of effort and some good work in a few days and a template for something that can’t be EO’d back out of existence if Congress gets to work to help get these agencies under control. Congress likes them, so we’ll see.

As part of the information broadside, your president included some words about birthright citizenship that will irk all the ‘right’ leftists. As part of his unburdening us of what has been done by the Biden-Harris administration, Trump missed a Presidential action titled “Protecting the Meaning and Value of American Citizenship.

Good title. Great Title. US citizenship matters; it is not something you treat like a rental car (Dems have already filed a lawsuit; it’s that good).

One reader pointed out to me how Trump’s XO was narrow and specific.

First it applies only to children of mothers who are here illegally, or purely visitors. Second, it does not apply if the father is a US citizen or legal resident. Children covered by Trump’s XO are naturally already citizens of their mother’s country of origin, just as children born to American mothers overseas are American citizens.

The persons covered by the XO are not “subject to the jurisdiction thereof,” and therefore are not subject to the provisions of the 14th amendment, which was written to protect children of freed slaves from, yes, Democrats.

Now, Democrats, who would not protect freed slaves, nor current citizens, from illegal immigrants, want to protect illegal immigrants from deportation by making the concept of anchor babies a positive legal precedent.

That is an excellent synopsis.

Documents related to citizenship are also covered.

Sec. 2.  Policy.  (a)  It is the policy of the United States that no department or agency of the United States government shall issue documents recognizing United States citizenship, or accept documents issued by State, local, or other governments or authorities purporting to recognize United States citizenship, to persons:  (1) when that person’s mother was unlawfully present in the United States and the person’s father was not a United States citizen or lawful permanent resident at the time of said person’s birth, or (2) when that person’s mother’s presence in the United States was lawful but temporary, and the person’s father was not a United States citizen or lawful permanent resident at the time of said person’s birth.

It also clearly defines the terms Mother and Father for purposes of enforcement.

Sec. 4.  Definitions.  As used in this order:

(a)  “Mother” means the immediate female biological progenitor.

(b)  “Father” means the immediate male biological progenitor.

That may be what put them over the edge, but it doesn’t take much to snap that twig, so who can say? Whining and crying is their superpower, and being in the minority magnifies this skill set. Finding a judge to block an order is easy finding 200 judges to block…you get the idea. Keep them on their back foot and ‘Dense Pack’ them until they are numb.

It’s worked so far, but they are mostly numb already, so it is a feeling with which many are familiar. The real question is, who among them will rise amidst this progressive adversity? They need someone to follow into 2026 and 2028, and TikTok’s of ICE raids may not have the effect they used to. Even Democrats in the cities they hide in want the criminal aliens gone.

And children in Barry’s cages are children that weren’t lost and sexually trafficked by Biden and Harris.

Watch for carefully constructed storylines of innocent “migrants” caught up in The Donald’s careless deportation demands. Something that makes Michael Brown look like a Teddy Bear or that portrays Trayvon Martin as a child. Hamas didn’t teach Hollywood; I think it was the other way around.
