The following is commentary from a reader about the Debate: Donald Trump versus ABC News and Kamala Harris.
Watching that debate was painful and maddening. It was like doing a backbreaking chore that you know must be done—stacking the five cords of wood I just did comes to mind.
The clear bias of the state-run propaganda of ABC was ugly.
The CNN debate with Tapper and Dana with a Dementia patient was far more fair, substantive, and easier to watch; this says a lot.
This was not Moderating at all. They were also debating Trump in an effort to help Kamala. This was all very clear.
Trump seemed to have decided to sit back and let her babble on, likely with the plan of letting her hang herself– this may have worked, but it sure was hard to watch.
Kamala has a voice that makes me want to jump off a cliff to make it stop.
With all her abortion talk, I wondered if she was looking for an Academy Award.. they sure do pour on the emotion and drama on the Left.
That topic went on far too long, and Donald was right to simply say, “This is a non-issue; each state will decide and do what it wants to do.”
It was like she had no understanding of how this all IS now.
If states want to ban abortion, so be it; it’s their state.
She presented as unserious because all her facial expressions and reactions looked so staged and contrived—she made herself into a caricature.
I don’t think that Trump was Trump because he had a plan to sit back, give her the floor and give her the rope- this worked sometimes I suppose but we’d prefer he shut her yap up I suppose.
He repeated so much stuff that we all know, and it is clear to see. I would have liked more discussion of policy and his solutions rather than wasting time telling us what a disaster it all is.
In choosing to be quiet, he missed many opportunities to ask her questions that would have shown that all she did was memorize lines about topics she truly knew nothing about.
Her non-stop, flat-out lies were painful to hear.
Getting around the narrative and the Media Machine, the disconnect from reality- this grows more challenging.
Muir said there was no credible reports of pets being eaten in Ohio.. But by who? The cabal of narrative pushers?
Pictures of these Haitians carrying geese and wild animals are everywhere on the internet!!
The fact that they live in an alternative reality becomes clearer, as does the need to educate people about that point.
