Manchester School Board Defends Racism

by

Racism has worsened in our country as so-called “anti-racists” have turned away from the example of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King and sought to label and pit those who “will always be oppressors” against those who “will always be oppressed.”

Our schools are the last place that should be labeled “villains” and “victims.” It instills distrust and hatred and sets labeled groups against one another.

Sadly, the Manchester School Board, led by the current mayor, has doubled down on this approach. It is not something I will tolerate as mayor and I called on them to explain their horrendous vote that enables this approach to continue in our schools.

If you believe as I do that our government institutions, especially our schools, should be in the business of dealing with people as INDIVIDUALS and should assess them by the content of their character, not the color of their skin or any other biological trait, please share this message with your friends and donate so we can make sure everybody knows what we’re about.

No doubt, this statement will put an even bigger bullseye on us. Standing for the truth often does. But, standing together, we’ll withstand the storm and defeat this despicable effort to divide our children and nation along racial lines by reminding everybody of the lessons taught by Rev. Dr. King.

As always, thank you for your support!
