I thought I’d drop you a note. I have to say that, as a new Granite Stater, I am quite surprised at the overwhelming number of folks here who have succumbed to the media hype and fear-mongering.

Governor Sununu lifted the mask mandate on April 16, nearly a full two weeks ago. Yet when I go to the Lowe’s or the Shaw’s in Littleton I find that I am the only one not wearing a mask. Well, not quite true, there have, on occasion, been another or two brave souls.
The Walgreens here in Lancaster still sported their “mask required to enter” sign on the door, so I dutifully donned mine when I needed to in to get a prescription. Upon entering, however, I saw that the two people behind the front counter, who had lowered their masks to their necks to carry on their conversation, scramble to get them where they should be while I watched… I immediately removed mine and put it in my pocket!
What the heck. I thought our motto here is Live Free or Die! I don’t see that spirit in action!
