NHCCS Constitution Day – Rich Girard / Jane Cormier “Chester”

After the dinner time (ok, before it ended), Rich Girard bounded back onto the stage and set the schedule for the rest of the evening.  Then he introduced former NH State Rep Jane Cormier to give her rendition of our first national anthem: “Chester”.  After that, Pete Hinkle had some time to talk about general announcements for the NHCCS as well as to give the Loyalty award to Bill McNally.

Dr. Jehle followed that with his talk in “Interpositional Oration”:

NHCCS Constitution Day – Dr. Edwin Vieira: “The Administrative State: Blueprint for Tyranny”

Following Ben Krim’s address, Dr. Vieira took the stage to talk about the changing of our representative Republic into that which I have written about for years (trust me, he makes the FAR more scholarly argument than I could EVAH hope to do): the warning about Progressivism’ Administrative State why by we no longer rule ourselves but by government bureaucrats that are both unelected and unaccountable.  And with the Obama Administration’s years, increasingly they are also unassailable by we ordinary folks.  Again, who is supposed to be the Public Master and the public servant?  His address is broken into 4 parts of about 15 minutes apiece.

NHCCS Constitution Day – Interview with Rich Girard of “Girard At Large”

Long day yesterday but worth it the National Heritage Center for Constitutional Studies (“NHCCS”) Constitution Day.  Got the chance to finally talk with people roaming around a bit instead of always behind the camera but did get a couple of interviews while running around checking cameras in some of the session rooms (as opposed to just being in the ballroom where the main session didn’t start until 4pm).  It seems that the Master of Ceremonies, Rich Girard, had a similar problem – the subsidiary sessions had their on M.C.s so he and I sat down for a chat:

There’s a new one, and you can watch it below. Pull quotes courtesy of “Hot Air.”

“We’ve just been working with people who want particular tissues, like, you know, they want cardiac, or they want eyes, or they want neural,” says Dr. Westhoff to a prospective fetal organ buyer. “Certainly, everything we provide–oh, gonads! Oh my God, gonads. Everything we provide is fresh.”

I have been talking to the executive director of the National Abortion Federation, we’re trying to figure this out as an industry, about how we’re going to manage remuneration, because the headlines would be a disaster.”

“Planned Parenthood really does these horrifying things – and makes money at it, and laughs about it over lunch.”

“You only have to watch the videos for five minutes, and you know it’s true. The subjects of the videos are sincere and candid – casually sharing the secrets of their grisly business with people they think are co-conspirators. The evidence points to only one conclusion: Planned Parenthood really does these horrifying things – and … Read more

GrokTALK! for the week of 9/5/15

Summer is over!  Kids are back to school!  And here in NH, the countdown is proceeding to where “The Summah People” (H/T: Weekend Pundit) will be heading home and traffic here in Central NH will return to its normal, languid pace.  Hustle-bustle will be gone – but the political pace never slacks off!  This week, we have:

  • Segment 1: Grokster Susan calls in from the Deprete Gun show at Concord’s skating rink and we talked about a number of things include SB116 and the impending override vote on Gov. Maggie “The Red” Hassan’ veto schedule for September 16.
  • Segment 2:   Ralph Benko from Townhall joins us, courtesy of Grokster Kimberly Morin’s trip out to the Jackson Hole economic summit, to talk about economics and The Fed.  Funny, no one has ever mentioned that we Groksters were part of the Bolivian Army (snicker)….
  • Segment 3: ‘Grok friend and now National Campaign Mgr. for Trump 2016 Corey Lewandowski comes on to talk about his rocket ride and takes a few questions from we Groksters.
Segment 4: Max Ledoux from Riccochet.com joins us to yak about Gov. Maggie Hassan and Planned Parenthood and her (and her staff’s) inability to answer a simple question: Has Maggie Hassan watched the Center for Medical Progress’s videos on Planned Parenthood’ harvesting unborn baby organs (done “to order”)?  A simple yes or no that seemingly was caught in PP’s scalpels…
