Memorial Day – I was lucky…

…my sons came home.  These did not.  It is oft said that only 1% of the American population has been touched by military service; for those of you and your families that are part of this Honored 1%, thank you.  I know your sacrifice and your pain – may God bless you this day and know that you are not alone. If you are the 99% for which such sacrifice is but a mere abstraction, take a moment and reflect: what if it was I?  Or a family member?

I became a blogger because of the question posed “What are you willing to die for?”.  For these heroes, we know the answer.
