Binders that Bind

Femanazis and even most leftists are like old dynamite.  One false move and BOOM!  Add to that the decline of their progressive President in the polls, and a roll call of states whose voters appear to be drifting away from their agenda and just about anything could set them off…and does.

Take binders, for example.

Governor Romney, in seeking to find qualified women in Massachusetts to consider for state cabinet positions asked for a binder of resumes from women.  This is the now infamous “Binder of Women” comment that has become the lefts latest in a long string of desperate and doomed to fail attacks upon the opponent.  Romney said binders of women!  BOOM!

But it is doomed to fail.  It is doomed to fail because while Democrats have talking points Romney has substance.

Fabricating a False Conspiracy Narrative at Merrimack Patch?

Carolyn Dube, editor of the Merrimack Patch, engaged in a form of journalism today, after reading my post about potential political bias and ‘indoctrination’ tactics in some of the classrooms at Merrimack High School. I will leave the kind of journalism she engaged in up to you dear readers.

In her opening paragraph she establishes the tone of the piece thusly…

A Merrimack father and blogger on conservative blog GraniteGrok is alleging a conspiracy of political indoctrination and bullying among Merrimack High School teachers who he says are lobbying for the re-election of the president.

In order for it to be a conspiracy there has to be a planned coordinated effort.  But seeing as I never make this claim, and in fact, make remarks that contradict it, (directly to Ms. Dube in fact), everything after her opening paragraph is equally suspect.

Who cares about a child’s education? Conservatives!

Liberals (typically Democrats) and Conservatives (typically Republicans) have very different viewpoints about education.  Liberals see the public school educational establishment (the unions, the government bureaucracies, the University Education Departments, etc.) as the way to educate children (except occasionally for their own children).   

Conservatives believe results are the important thing, “Is the child getting a good education?”  Government ads claim that every day 7000 children drop out of school and millions more graduate lacking basic knowledge.  The educational establishment isn’t meeting society’s need to prepare children for adulthood.

Don’t Think The Debt Matters, Think Again

We’re $16,000,000,000,000 in debt. Don’t think it matters?  Consider this: who owns the debt, and what is going to happen when they collect?  How are government programs going to remain funded when interest payments on the debt begins to siphon off those funds into coffers of the bondholders?  Ask yourself this question again after you’ve contemplated the return to the historical average interest rate and not the artificial rate we’ve been basking in.  “...from 1971 until 2012, the United States Interest Rate averaged 6.2 Percent…”,  but we’ve been enjoying rates less than 3% for what seems like five years.  The government borrows 40% of every dollar it spends in your name.  Imagine how great the interest payments will be on that borrowed money when we return to the historical average?  Think the interest rates will remain this low?

2012 House Belknap 2 Dems - Front‘Tis the season of political surveys coming in on the phone.  Today, I think I got five, and a whole bunch of hangups which I take to be auto-dials by such companies looking for folks to call later or that with “predictive dialing”, there wasn’t an agent ready when “it” thought there would be when it dialed the number.  It is also the time for “mailers”; candidates trying to sell their message like these four Democrat ProRegressives: Kate Miller, Bill Johnson, Sandy Mucci, and MY fav Lisa DiMartino (she of the “my house is in the flight path – there might be a crash” fame.  More on that later).

They are running as a team.  That’s fine – my pick are the four Conservatives (that happen to be running on the Republican ticket) Colette Worseman, Herb Vadney, Bob Greemore, and my personal friend Kevin Leandro.

Back to the Dems – remember, the electorate (that would be you, the voters) decided that the Democrats were the extremists in 2010 – and told them emphatically that their social issue voting and their absolutely crazy spending were no longer to be tolerated.  So, what did these qwazy quad send as a message?  That would be on the flip side of the card:

Life, No Matter How Inconvenient….Matters

Bill Maher has done us a great service.  He has spoken the truth.  He has uttered a core “value” of the left, one that goes back more than a century.

“I do believe in more DNA testing. My motto is let’s kill the right people. I’m pro-choice, I’m for assisted suicide, I’m for regular suicide, I’m for whatever gets the freeway moving – that’s what I’m for. It’s too crowded – the planet is too crowded – and we need to promote death.”

This is the kind of refreshing honesty you can’t get from most Democrats because they are afraid you will be horrified by it and never elect them to office.  But this is who they are.  And you should be horrified, and you should not elect them to office, because Maher’s honesty exposes the lefts  intellectual roots.  This is a party descended from eugenicists whose support for abortion and “end of life decisions” is based on a desire to “people” their inevitable man-made utopia with only the best the human race has to offer (as defined by them), and to use the power of the state to reduce the burden of any life that could be or has come to be inconvenient to that end.

Prez Debate: Income Inequality; Obama chest puffs but his female staffers purses aren’t so big

It seems that the Left is all a-giggle that when Romney became MA Guv, he asked for “binders full of women” when he was in the process of fulfilling a campaign process to have a larger-then-normal-number of women in his Cabinet.  Is NOW screaming at the Obama campaign for making sport of Mitt for putting women at the same level as men when considering qualified employees?   Nope (like, you really thought that was going to happen??).  Look at their post – they’re all in for the Progressive in the campaign (er, that would be Obama).  In fact, this is what they said:

All that LLFPA does (its main component) is do a reset of the statute of limitation and gives the aggrieved a longer time in which to file a claim – which may well be happening in Obama’s own employ!  What Romney should have pointed out was this:

Developing…Merrimack High School Teachers Indoctrinating Students?

I have received a number of reports of teachers in the Merrimack High School actively promoting a specific presidential candidate.  This appears to take several forms.  I have reports of posters, temporary messages encouraging students to assist a single campaign–with contact info, and then the typical teacher injecting their own preferences into the class discussion on an almost daily basis, also known as biased propagandizing and political indoctrination on the taxpayer dime.

Let me be clear.  All these offenses, and there appear to be several and many, promote President Obama’s re-election with little or no effort to provide any kind of ongoing or daily balance for or toward his opponent.  As class leaders, role models, and public servants, this is unethical, and very likely illegal.

This has been going on for weeks and I just want it to stop.

So how do we go about making it stop?
