Ballot-BoxComments are often a great source of amusement, and often suitable for follow up material.  In this instance, in response to my post about Legally stealing elections with out of state voters who just happen to be in New Hampshire, an anonymous commenter using the handle “Speak the Truth” suggested that we just let it go.

Move On. We have an enormous task in front of us – “we” have to EDUCATE the public with the TRUTH. “Dumb cannot be solved with Dumber”

Common Sense Resistance?

We’re all reeling from what has just happened in America two days ago. It appears to signify a new electoral paradigm. For the rest of us, the question is how to deal with it. Late on the night of the election, an obviously exhausted and agitated Bill Whittle of PJMedia spent nearly an hour and a half of unedited reflection, laying out a radical plan for going forward. An hour and a half is a long time to watch a single, unedited video. I watched it all. I suggest you do so also. I do not necessarily  endorse what Whittle is proposing, and—as is often the case—the comments after the video strike as many sparks—and sometimes fire—as the video itself. I strongly suggest you watch it all, as I did. Then think about our options.

About That Chairman of the NHGOP Works For Free Thing…

half mast GOP FlagAnyone ever wonder what possible advantage there might be to keeping the job of Republican Party Chairman of New Hampshire as an unpaid position?  I’m sure there are people with a pat answer but I have a theory.

Seems to me that this would guarantee that only well-connected, moderate party insiders could ever hold the job.  People who’ve earned it instead of people who’d actually work for their paycheck.  People who have to know people to raise any money as opposed to someone who would raise money like their paycheck depended on it.  Hardly what I’d call a governing conservative principle, passing the job along like a crown because the only people who can afford to do it don’t need the money it might otherwise pay were it a paid position.

And having delegates vote for the chairman only seems to work if the people who hand off the crown like the person they voted for.

Chris Christie – Fallen off the Pedestal?

barack_obama_chris_christieFace it, when Chris Christie first burst onto the scene campaigning for the NJ Governorship, he became an instant hit with a lot of Conservatives.  Not that he was all THAT conservative but that he was willing to take on the press, unions, and nay-sayers in a “take-no-prisoner” fashion.  And in that manner, just like Gingrich during the Republican Primaries (and here in NH when I went to events where he was), he refused to play defense; instead he went on full offense.

Nice to see a Republican go toe to toe and not descend into the “don’t rock the boat” mode. Not nice to see him these past two weeks slobbering over Obama and “The Boss” Springsteen (really, cried?).  Conservatives will forgive a lot, over time, but when you are first seen waging war FOR Romney, then playing patty-cake with the opponent (beyond what many believed was needed for a Governor talking with a President during a crisis).  Now this:

Harry Reid on Raising Debt Limit to $18.794T: ‘We’ll Raise It’

(CNSNews.com) – Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said on Wednesday that if the $16.394 current legal limit on the federal government’s debt must be raised in the next few months by another $2.4 trillion, “We’ll raise it.”

That would set the debt limit at $18.794 trillion.

Fine.  Wonderful.  Let’s have the financial armageddon come faster and harder, shall we?  Not just $16 Trillion (100% of GDP) but let’s start the process of going to twice that.  Gee, I thought that the purpose of our elected leaders was supposed to keep the country safe from enemies from without and within?  How does raising the debt to this level accomplish this, Senator Reid?  Or is this, again, a feature and not a bug?  Would you get even more peevish if I said that this would make us more “susceptible”?

Wonder if that’s why this came up – TODAY (right AFTER the election)?:

EMail Doodlings – OK, putting this up a couple days late.

But actually, it turned out to be a bit prescient, as in two races here in NH in my mind (Frank Guinta & Bob Burns), what I warned about came true:

This may not sit well….

It seems to me that the full bore / hard core Libertarians (“HCLs”) on this list (which, after all is the REPUBLICAN Liberty Caucus and not the LIBERTARIAN Liberty Caucus – I could not resist) are turning out to be not Libertarians concerning this election but Nihilists.

Given that their more favored candidates absolutely bombed out during the primary and have gotten no traction since, you folks are all deciding to go home and pout. Given that the expected Home Run At Bat (perhaps expected given the tremendous gains that Libertarians had here in NH in 2010) has turned out in THIS election to be the Biggest Whiff since Casey in Mudville in actual candidate attraction to the general electorate (as opposed to other Libertarians), all I am hearing is a massive hissy fit. Instead of treating it as a double or triple in 2010 and knowing that sometimes that only singles or strikeouts happen, if you can’t get that four bagger, then the game is rigged, the umps stink, and the ball has lard on it. So effectively, you all are going to throw your votes away. Period. That is how you all are coming across (and that means you Jane – I saw some of the NHTEAParty tweets and retweets during the debates you sent and utterly cringed).

Using the Law to ‘Legally’ Steal Elections?

voter checklist - legalized vote fraud in NHJudge Lewis made it legal for out of state residents to vote in New Hampshire.  It’s not quite that simple but he essentially legalized out of state voter influence on your local election (vote fraud) which is not actually a new idea but may have been executed on a massive scale this week.

Now you’d have to be a bit immoral or unethical to take unfair advantage of such a legal loophole, yes?  To find and encourage people to participate in such a scheme?  Well what if a certain political party did just that?  If they used a legal loophole, secured by a liberal Judge, in response to a suit brought by Liberal activist groups, then used their massive canvassing database to target polling places where they could tip elections in their favor?  That would be crazy talk.  Legally robbing other people of their voice with out of state voters?

So I suppose we’d need some proof to make that case?  Well guess what.  You can help us gather it.

The End of the Beginning of the End

When not caused by war, nations decay slowly and gradually (e.g., modern day France, Italy, Spain, Greece etc.).

Alas, now, it seems ours is no different. Its exceptionalism is dissolving into the ordinary. It’s a choice made by the people. They fore-go liberty and self subjugate themselves under ruling political and administrative classes of which they’ll never be a part.  They’ll never rise to those classes because they’re taught apathy, complacency, and their place since birth.  They are relieved of the burdensome onus of everyday decisions.  Decisions that were proudly made by preceding generations that were not a bother or an onus at all to them.  To them, it was life. Deciding what to do, how to live, and how to be was essential and culminated in traditions, virtues, and mores.

That became too onerous for the generations that followed, they blithely go about taking direction and surrendering thinking and creativity to others in the elite political classes.

Nothing tastes quite like defeat but nothing creates blog material like Democrats.  (I’d have preferred the day off but that was apparenlty not meant to be.)

So here we go again.  I expect the 2016 election to start any moment now…

By the way.  Some libertarians are taking credit for the GOP not being able to win without them.  Note to those libertarains.  That would actually mean you helped Obama win.  (Hassan, Lasky, Gilmore, Shea-Porter, McKluster etc…?)  I don’t happen to think you had any meaningful affect at all, personally.  The difference in New Hampshire (at least) was not slight. Romney may even have won the popular vote nationally–though I have only hear-say on that point.  But as the results unfold I’ll be happy to give you some credit if that will make you feel like you mattered.  I know how sensitive you folks are about your movement.
