This is one of those stories where a judge gets to pick the winners and losers .I read this article in the Union Leader 13 days ago about a guy who threatened another with a Shotgun at Eastside Plaza. The narrative written by Kathryn Marchocki, sums up the thesis as follows: Guy pulls into handicapped parking and takes up two spaces. Along comes another guy (with a handicapped placard) and he is indignant…angry perhaps about what he sees…perhaps, even because he was denied the space because of guy number one.

Guy Number 2 attempts to pull into a spot while being told to wait, which…I am only guessing here, only fueled his anger more.

“Earlier this week, snow covered more than half of the continental United States, the highest this measure has reached for this date in a decade, according to government scientists.

As of Dec. 15, the white, fluffy stuff covered 53 percent of the lower 48, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) reported. That’s a significantly higher portion than in recent years. In 2006, for example, snow covered just 12 percent of the lower 48 states on the same date, according to Climate Central, a climate news website.

Something else we might want to ask our cadre of ObamaCare supporting Democrat legislators this election season.

1) Why did you vote for a bill (ACA) knowing that it made insurance so expensive that older middle class citizens who need each other as much or more than ever would be better off divorced as a result of your support?

2) Did you vote for it becasue after our senior citizens were forced into expanded Medicaid by ObamaCare  they could be subject to a death tax with states able to seize assets of the deceased regardless of income level?

And here’s one for New Hampshire legislators who are still trying to expand Medicaid in New Hampshire.

I don’t think they have.  And that is ironic considering this from the national Democrat Mother-ship…

Are rules in the ACA that punish older married couples designed to drive them to divorce so that they end up on Medicaid,  so that the government can then fleece their estates after death?  It is starting to look that way.

Medicaid (the government/States) can charge the estate of a deceased Medicaid recipient to recover costs of care incurred prior to death before survivors may then distribute any remaining property or savings.  But most current recipients do not have much in the way of property for the state to confiscate.  If you are erecting a massive Health Care edifice, you’re going to need more cash to pay for it.  So what do you do?

You write rules into your partisan legislation that drive people into a program that then creates revenue streams without people necessarily realizing it.  That program?  Medicaid Expansion.

And our conversation with NH State Rep JR Hoell.  It seems that Miscellany: blue is one of our Progressive / Democrat trackers -THANKS for listening, Bill, reporting back to the Motherships, and driving some traffic our way; H/T to ya!   Nice to see, however, that with that 30 minute segment with JR, you chose to pick only 29 seconds and refused to give the full context of that conversation.  That’s ok, we used to having to explain things to the dim-witted and slow ones.  Now, we didn’t / haven’t done a transcript (note to self: gee, get the BeachTech unit or Dragon Naturally Speaking, where the latter could give us transcripts easily?).  But Bearing Arms did (Thanks! and H/T: Protect the Second Amendment – Resistance NH) do a longer one that gives more of a context and a couple of observations (reformatted a bit, emphasis mine):

Think Progress’s Ian Millhiser is the latest dainty progressive to take to his fainting couch over someone stating the obvious:

During an interview with a conservative podcast, New Hampshire state Rep. JR Hoell (R) predicted that a day may soon come when conservatives need to rise up in armed resistance to their elected government.

If you listen to the actual audio Hoell doesn’t mention anything at all about “conservatives” rising up in armed resistance to the government at all. Millhiser is being purposefully dishonest.
