Hillary: “…because we’re going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business”

After all, she is running to be the Second Coming of Obama in being his third term.  So why shouldn’t she be following in his footsteps?

“You know, when I was asked earlier about the issue of coal, uh, you know — Under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket. Even regardless of what I say about whether coal is good or bad. Because I’m capping greenhouse gases, coal power plants, you know, natural gas, you name it — whatever the plants were, whatever the industry was, uh, they would have to retrofit their operations. That will cost money. They will pass that money on to consumers.”

But he did declare coal to be bad.  Have you ever known a President, once smack down by Congress by NOT voting for a Cap N Trade, just on his own try to put an entire industry out of existence on his (and his EPA’s) say so?  And now Hillary is going that one next step further – she has promised to finish off the proud people of coal country.  And her utterance couldn’t be any more full of irony with the question being asked at the CNN’s Democrat town hall event:

Make the case to poor whites who vote Republican why they should vote for you and your economic policies

Sigh…

It’s “Will Kasich and Rubio come to their senses Super Tuesday”?

Like always, keep coming back for updates as I’ll be perusing all the data sites and entering the latest from my usual sources (Fox News, DecisionDesk HQ, Townhall).  In reference to the title, tonite for me is who loses rather than who wins.  As I emailed with the other Groksters: “Mainly, I’m done, LOONG done, … Read more

Lesbian Professor Commits Hate Crime Against Herself

Lesbain Professor Mari Poindexter Punched herselfAlternative Lifestyle title: This is not “The Awareness” You Were Looking For…

Professor Mari Poindexter, from Michigan, punched herself in the face and blamed “a guy at a Toby Keith Concert” for it. The police began to suspect it was a hoax,

“..when the investigators informed Poindexter that there was also surveillance footage of the parking lot, (and) she became anxious. She said she was no longer interested in viewing any video which might incriminate her assailant.”

The lying lesbian professor, having milked the internet for pity and attention (after punching herself in the face and sharing it, and her tall tale, on social media) is reported to have then become suicidal over…getting caught?

Minimum Wage Hike Killing Jobs in Seattle?

Seattles-Min-Wage-Law-Unemployment-Graph-1024x630Beginning in April of last year employment numbers in the city of Seattle began to drop as unemployment rose.

The AEI study, worked up from Bureau of Labor Statistics’ monthly surveys, shows that, between April and December last year, Seattle saw the biggest employment drop in any nine-month period since 2009 — a full year into the Great Recession.

The city unemployment rate rose a full percentage point.

From September through November of 2015 the reporting shows a loss of 10,000 jobs in Seattle in just three months, (right when you’d expect holiday hiring to ramp up?). What happened? We know Progressives happened.

Looks Like Trump Was The P***Y

Trump jet in retreatFrom David Marcus at The Federalist.

Back in August, Donald Trump had strong words for Bernie Sanders after a Black Lives Matter protest interrupted a Sanders rally. Trump said, “I would never give up my microphone. I thought that was disgusting.” He went on to say, “That will never happen with me…I don’t know if I’ll do the fighting myself, or if other people will, but that was a disgrace. I felt badly for him, but it showed that he’s weak.”

On Friday night, Trump had the chance to show how he would react to a Black Lives Matter protest. He tucked his tail between his legs and scurried back to his jet. At least Sanders had stayed on the stage.

Despicable He

Despicable-He-2-Gru-Minions

Yesterday I wrote that I believed Trump’s response to a reporter’s claim that his campaign manager grabbed her was ‘despicable.’

We’ve had 8 years of a reactionary man-child in the White House. A President who opens his big mouth before finding out all the facts. Many conservatives have shown their disgust over Obama’s factless statements in the past.

What changed?

Could We Try Running The Place Like a Federal Republic?

Here’s and idea. How about we try running this country like a Federal Republic? That would solve some problems. That’s the focus as we talk Federalism, Ruling class disdain for voters, the fusion that is Conservatarianism, with a quick shout out for the next Defending Freedom Tour BBQ, and why Scott Brown should not be … Read more

Bad New Hampshire Republicans. Bad.

Only you can keep RINOs out of Concord
Only you can keep RINOs out of Concord

Special thanks to Spec Bowers for doing all the leg work here. After seeing the list, this is my question for the establishment GOP and NHGOP. How many times does a Republican have to vote with the Democrats instead of the Republicans, before they can no longer be considered a Republican, or a ‘good Republican’ or a ‘conservative? These are all words hijacked by Republicans who vote mostly with Democrats, or vote mostly to advance the Democrat agenda, to describe themselves and those like them.

Here is the list of Republicans in the NH House, a dozen of whom have voted more with Democrats than their own party.

Blood for Oil

The reason for the military action, Obama then claimed, was the danger of a humanitarian catastrophe caused by Qaddafi’s forces attacking civilians. The real reason was that France’s access to Libyan sweet crude was blocked by Qaddafi. Neither France nor England had the ability to undertake the airstrikes necessary to overthrow Qaddafi’s government, so U.S. forces were necessary despite the fact that no U.S. national security interest was at stake. …

And yet they are railing on Donald Trump bankruptcies for “stiffing the little people”

Obamacare-Screwed

“The question we ask today is not whether our government is too big or too small, but whether it works — whether it helps families find jobs at a decent wage, care they can afford, a retirement that is dignified.” – President Obama, Inauguration (2009)

Yes, all the dirt about a person gets thrown up during campaigns especially for national ones – each candidate’s live is going to get dissected five ways to Sunday.  And just during this Republican Primary campaign, much has been made about Donald Trump’s “problems”.  And yes, I know personally how it feels when somebody decides to vamoose and you get stiffed.  Yet, it was done legally and while you never want it to happen to you, that is part of the risk of doing business.  And you are lucky if you get cents on the dollar owed.

But what can we do when a President and Political Party decided that stiffing YOU for their insistence on implementing their ideology come hell or high water?  What is your redress?  In this case, nothin’:

DOCTORS, HOSPITALS GETTING STIFFED FOR MILLIONS OF DOLLARS BY OBAMACARE CO-OPS: A dozen of the 24 Obamacare health insurance co-ops established at a cost of $2.5 billion in 2012 have failed (and more are expected to do so). Now, hundreds of doctors, hospitals and other health care providers who served co-op policyholders are being muscled aside by federal bureaucrats claiming the government should be the first creditor in the bankruptcy line.

So, twice screwed over – once by taking taxes from you for purposes that the Federal Government should not be doing and then again when not only are you out the tax money, you ain’t getting paid either:
