Ayotte and Shaheen vote for Radical Obama Bill that will hurt your Neighborhood

ayotteshaheen

Yesterday both Senators Kelly Ayotte and Jeanne Shaheen voted for a radical bill that hands over local control of your neighborhood to the federal government. Because Ayotte and Shaheen clearly don’t care about their constituents in New Hampshire, they have decided to push this outrageous rule by Obama that forces middle class and upper middle-class neighborhoods to be subject to federal rules on work-force housing zoning.

The Pig Ignorant Socialists are Still Guilty

I came across this pic today and found it more interesting and more infuriating as I looked at it and began to study it.  I know this is a masochist’s penchant and I do not consider myself one, but I just couldn’t help it.

chavez_worhipper

At first, it appears quite benign.  Just a man reading at lunch or brunch in what appears a decent restaurant.  It appears, given the lighting and his dress, to be day time, but it might be evening.

And there’s that hat that reads, “Chavez”.

And the man is reading.  He’s reading a paper, a newspaper.  The media was the first battleground when Chavez’s came to power. He seized control of the media. He knew the power it had over the public and the import it was to him keeping power and doing what dictators do.  And this man,

The Federal Dollars Addiction

Federal money-addictionEveryone is talking about the addiction problem here in New Hampshire. It is all the craze – we NEED more and more funding for those who suffer from addiction.

While this may be valid, I wish more people would talk about our national addiction problem. You know, the addiction that is killing our Republic under the strong arm tactics at the federal level. It is called the “Federal Dollars Addiction.” This Progressive disease comes to us from those who believe that we need to feed our power-mongering national government.

Green 20 Gets A Congressional Committee ‘Shot Across The Bow’

Al_Gore_Fire bannerThe Green 20, seventeen state’s attorneys general and eight environmental groups (17+8=20?) received letters from 13 Science, Space, and Technology Committee Republicans (13=13), concerned that the legal intimidation tactics of the Green 20 (+5) might be violating citizen’s first amendment rights.

The letters request documents related to the groups’ coordinated efforts to deprive companies, nonprofit organizations, scientists and scholars of their First Amendment rights and their ability to fund and conduct scientific research free from intimidation and threats of prosecution.

A 5 O’Clock Shadow in the Changing Room

gender-neutral-restroomWell it happened, again. In Dallas Fort Worth, again. What is it about that place?  They don’t even have a law saying that men can use women’s facilities.  (Can you believe this whole bathroom thing is an issue?  Good lord, what a stupid time to be alive).   But for some reason the pioneering men in DFW are mounting up this pervy zeitgeist and wandering into places intended for women.   This time it was again in a changing room, but not at a Target at a Ross Department Store.

A woman was in a dressing room when she heard a man’s voice. She was alarmed and…well this is how it was reported

Daryl Hall on Cultural Appropriation: Appropriate This!

The PC pantywaists at Salon got a little smack back by an 80’s icon during an interview last week.  During the interview with Daryl Hall, from the Hall and Oates fame and who also has a television show currently airing somewhere, the interviewer asked about the latest progressive drop of insanity in the lefty crazy PC cocktail called “cultural appropriation”.  The basic definition of which is doing something or donning something that is apparently not indigenous to one’s physical characteristics like a white guy with dread locks, for example.  Or a white person wearing a sombrero. Or heck I guess, non- Asian using chop sticks.  (Will this madness never end?  Wait… who invented the fork? A white guy? Please say a white guy; how else am I going to eat!!!).  Well, Daryl hall was going to have none of it from the interview.

(Verboten words asterisked mine:)

SALON: One of the current debates is over “cultural appropriation” – The idea that white people should not appropriate the culture of ethnic and racial minorities. I know that you don’t like the term “blue eyed soul.” Have you followed this conversation?

2nd Annual ‘Gun Rights Are Women’s Rights’ rally in New Hampshire

DSC07419

On Sunday the Women’s Defense League of New Hampshire held their 2nd annual ‘Gun Rights Are Women’s Rights’ rally at the state house in Concord. Last year the organization made history by holding the first ever 2nd Amendment rally organized by women in the state. They are the only women’s 2nd Amendment organization in the state and the only organization that actually teaches women to safely and accurately shoot as well as fighting for 2nd Amendment rights in the legislature.

A Solution Looking for a Problem?

mental-health-word-cloudSomehow, New Hampshire has defied progressive-probability. For years we’ve had some of the lowest crime rates, and the lowest homicide rate, in the nation, despite never (EVER) giving the feds the names of people diagnosed as mentally ill (a subjective set of circumstances all its own).

How the hell is that even possible?

Do Not Allow A Government to Force You To Forfeit Your Conscience

Armando Valladares was jailed and tortured by the Castro regime for 22 years because he would not publicly say, ‘I am with Fidel.’ This is a man of conscience and conviction, and in his speech–upon receiving the 2016 Canterbury Medal–he identified another, this time a group, who would not allow a government to force them to forfeit their conscience.

The Little Sisters of the Poor know this. They may be called the Little Sisters of the Poor, and yet they are rich in that they live out their conscience, which no government bureaucrat can invade. They know what my body knows after 22 years of cruel torture: that if they sign the form, the government demands they will be violating their conscience and would commit spiritual suicide. If they did this they would forfeit the true and only wealth they have in abandoning the castle of their consciences.

Full speech on the jump.

About that Title IX Thing…

Mario Loyola, writing at National Review, evaluates the Orwellian stylings of the Obama Transgender Bathroom ‘Dear Colleague Letter,’ but I thought this was the money quote. Naturally, the last thing anyone in Congress (or anywhere) thought in 1972 was that for purposes of federal law, students would get to decide what gender they feel like on … Read more

“There are few superstitious beliefs as absurd as the idea that a woman can be trapped in a man’s body”

Not exactly the sort of expression you expect from a Princeton Professor. What’s the over-under on how soon Robert George will be looking for work?
