The American Revolution wasn’t fought for plunder or conquest, but for the ideas that people can govern themselves and have inherent (by birth) rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  For these ideas wealthy, prominent Americans, prospering under British rule, pledged/risked their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor…and many endured hardships during the revolution they began.

The US Constitution defined a government that implemented those ideas, enabling self-government (through elected representatives) and protecting peoples’ inherent rights.

Some people have various criticisms of the Constitution, e.g., it allowed slavery, although it authorized Congress to abolish it after 1808, and it didn’t enable women to vote; but the Constitution provided an amendment process for providing fixes and addressing future needs.

In our first century, Americans became the wealthiest and freest people in the world; millions immigrated to pursue their American dreams.

Leftists (progressives, liberals, Democratic Socialists, or whatever they want to be called to hide their intentions), unrestricted as they are by facts, logic, history, or reality, often ascribe their own nasty characteristics to their opponents, e.g., that the TEA Party is Fascist.

The leftists would probably prefer to call the TEA Partiers Nazis, which were perhaps 100 times worse than Fascists, or Stalinists, which were even worse, but everyone knows that Nazis are Socialist and Stalinists were Communist and the leftists like socialism and communism.

The distinctions between Fascist, Socialist, Communist, Tsarist, Emperor, and other absolute (right-wing or left-wing) dictatorships are only interesting to philosophers and academics tired of debating how many angels can dance on the head of pin.  The distinctions are meaningless to the people whose freedoms, property, and lives are arbitrarily taken by government.

The existence of the Kyle Tasker client list is still the subject of much speculation. The NH AG, as reported by the Union Leader on May 18th, doesn’t know anything about a credible list.

“I don’t know where this thing about a list is coming from,” said Attorney General Joseph Foster. “I’ve heard rumors, but as far as keeping a black book, I’ve not heard that … I’ve never heard from any credible source that (Tasker) has a list.”

On May 11, Politifact’s own Linda Qiu writes, “Donald Trump Falsely Claims, Hillary Clinton wants to abolish the Second Amendment.”  Qiu is 100% correct. Hillary Clinton has never come right out and said those words. Never. For a politician (charlatan) like Hillary to do so would be certain political suicide. She would draw the ire of many of her hypocritical, gun-owning left-wing friends.

It saddens me to share with you that a new state law requires us to defund the Office of Diversity and Inclusion from July 1, 2016, to June 30, 2017. This means that no funds can go to operate the office. Vice Chancellor Rickey Hall has announced that he is becoming the vice president for the Office of Minority Affairs and Diversity at the University of Washington and chief diversity officer for the UW system. One of the employees in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion has been offered another position with the university, and the university continues to assist the other employee whose position is being eliminated. As the law requires, the university will reallocate the Office of Diversity and Inclusion’s budget to minority engineering scholarships.

But it seems that Academia doesn’t like its leash shortened and is willfully trying to do a “go around” – the leadership is acting just like its students when they hear “NO!”  After all, academia BELIEVES in its entitlements by being “the smarted people in the room” (the high brow translation:

If you thought the deflate-gate scandal was dragging out, then you haven’t been paying attention to the New Hampshire Attorney General’s snails-pace prosecution of Newmarket, New Hampshire Republican, Joe Barton.

Joe, arrested on November 4th, 2014, was charged with simple assault and resisting arrest. An additional charge of unsworn falsification on Sept 1, 2015, alleged that the letter signed by NHGOP Chair Jennifer Horn, used by Barton to allow him to serve as an official challenger at the polls on election day, was fake.
