Hey, Silver Spoon Harrel – we’ll “condemn” Andy ONLY after you condemn your boss for wishing everyone in The Hague had been bombed by Hitler

UPDATED AND BUMPED – Upon the news that NH Democrat Party Chairman Ray Buckley is planning to run for Chair of the Democrat National Committee, I thought I’d make it a bit easier for der Google to help them out.  Originally posted on July 12, 2013

Not us, Harrell – because until one of our elected friends makes an EXTREMELY bad vote, or a REALLY bad series of votes, we stay loyal to them.  Yeah, loyal – something that is in too short supply in politicis as well as probably being a very foreign concept for you, Harrell, you paid  political hack, who’ll seemingly say anything for a political point (and, like most Lefty operatives, a dollar bill being dragged along at the end of a string).  We know people make mistakes (hey, you’ve even tried to call us out a while ago- that was a mistake, wasn’t it, Harrell?  And if I recall, YOU made quite the doozey as well, right?  Shall we bring that up – again?  I guess contriteness was a short term attribute, eh?).

And this NH “political” story absolutely misses the REAL point entirely

Donkey ButtLet us first contemplate this from Ian Underwood (emphasis mine) – which was (in part):

But I urge the committee to consider a couple of deeper, less obvious consequences, not just of passing a bill like this, but of even bringing it up for consideration. The first is that a bill like this undermines respect for the very rule of law itself. After all, if the legislature isn’t going to respect the limits placed on it by the NH Constitution, then why should individuals respect the limits placed on them by that legislature — whether regarding guns, or schools, or traffic laws, or anything else?   If we’re going to disregard the big rules, why pay any attention to the smaller ones?

This story (reformatted, emphasis mine) isn’t about who didn’t fill out which form when.  While all three participants (JR Hoell, Shawn Jasper, and Dan Tuohy) focused in on that instead of the real reason.  Tree, forest – they failed to hone in on the actual root problem (heh!).

In this case, the law is an ass and the first two are both squabbling over the south end’s product.

Notable Quote – Dierdre McCloskey

The mechanism seems to be that, when a sensitive adolescent in a nonslave society first notices that some people are much poorer than her family, she is likely to conclude that the best remedy is to open Daddy’s wallet. (It is not an efficacious plan, because redistribution can give to the poor the mere 20 … Read more

I don’t typically blog a lot on weekends. It’s family time, and the house and yard and other matters take priority, but this popped into my head early this morning and has been begging to be blogged.

Gifts inspired by Democrats. Yeah, I know, the possibilities are endless. Like the Hillary Clinton anti-sniper vest, or Bill Clinton’s guide to fidelity and Marriage, which comes with a special limited edition “humidor.”

Don’t leave out the locals. Every girl wants her very own Maggie Hassan Emily’s List Approved Bivalved Speculum (order now and get a Planned Parenthood Gift Certificate for a limited time). And don’t forget the Ray Buckley commemorative map of the Hague, complete with Hitler mustache.

They didn’t like last week’s joke; so, how about another aircraft hitting the ground joke!

Brace  yourself before looking at the below image.  A pilot at low level has no control over his aircraft. It narrowly misses a crowd gathered for the air show  and slams into four buildings. One can only imagine the horror of the occupants inside those buildings:

Damn Climate Deniers and Your Stupid Questions.

Paul Driessen, writing at Watts Up With That thinks Mr. Trump, excuse me, President Trump, should ask some questions of the Climate Cult Community People (CCCP) [That’s my acronym, not his]. He’s itemized nine facts and/or questions in his article, Five Stages of Climate Grief. I’ll give you one to get you started. Your “manmade climate chaos” … Read more

About that “Calexit” where by California secedes from the US

Frankly, I’d be glad to see it go – or better yet, chop up California into several new States given how many in the less populated (but large in area) feel dominated by the San Fran, Sacramento, and coastal Libs. Hmm, sorta like all those self-absorbed “celebrities that swore they’d move to Canada if … Read more

Fidel Castro’s death – the Left of the world reveal themselves.

fidel-castroThe differences are clear and stark from what we’re seeing from around the world.  I am surprised, however, that Obama’s statement was just full on drool-inducing affirmation of the murderer’s life, given how he has embraced folks like the late Hugo Chavez (outright Socialist leader of Venezuela) and other tin-pot despots that normally are our sworn enemies even as he slighted our traditional allies.

At this time of Fidel Castro’s passing, we extend a hand of friendship to the Cuban people. We know that this moment fills Cubans – in Cuba and in the United States – with powerful emotions, recalling the countless ways in which Fidel Castro altered the course of individual lives, families, and of the Cuban nation. History will record and judge the enormous impact of this singular figure on the people and world around him.

My, doesn’t it sound like a good man gone before (at 90??) Obama’s time? But first, Trump’s statement (both full statements after the jump, emphasis mine):

Today, the world marks the passing of a brutal dictator who oppressed his own people for nearly six decades. Fidel Castro’s legacy is one of firing squads, theft, unimaginable suffering, poverty and the denial of fundamental human rights.

He was a dictator – during the “revolution” but afterwards as well. Nothing of the like from Obama – who would have guessed?  Trump continues:

Press Standards – depend on the who and what

This perfectly shows the “Who”standard – one standard for a Progressive and a “not” Progressive.  Guess who gets the preferential treatment, the softball questions, and who gets the grinding “faux outrage” ones (and gender doesn’t count – until they decide that it does (re: all that rubbish talk about glass ceilings)). The What? That’s “tradition” … Read more

I do hope that NH Governor-Elect Chris Sununu takes note – the role of Govt licensing boards and commissions

How might politicians address voter anger at vanishing economic opportunity for working people that helped push unexpected numbers of Americans to Donald Trump’s corner on election day? Immigration and trade have dominated the discussion thus far, but it’s important that policymakers don’t lose sight of more subtle ways the government has distorted the economy to favor the politically connected.

One example: Onerous occupational licensing laws that force people to undergo thousands of hours of often redundant and gratuitous training to perform jobs like auctioneering, tree trimming, and hair styling. . . .

The Left BURNS over Trump being Prez. So, bring out Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals

hanging-chadThis is a quick interesting point as to WHY Jill Stein (a SHINING example of a Red Commie wrapped in the Green fig leaf) is demanding recounts in WI, MI, or PA – I would not have thought of this angle and its long term consequences (reformatted, emphasis mine).

First Alinsky:

RULE 4:Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.” If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules. (This is a serious rule. The besieged entity’s very credibility and reputation is at stake, because if activists catch it lying or not living up to its commitments, they can continue to chip away at the damage.)

And what is “the rule book” in this case?  That’s the easy part – the real question is WHY?

The Democrats’ real strategy in launching recounts

…The recounts, if done by hand, which can be demanded, may take longer than the last day for completing the official counts in a state and directing Electoral College voters.  If all 3 states miss the deadline, Trump is at 260, Hillary at 232.  No one hits 270.

CNN: Elections Can’t Be Hacked

Larry Lessig Thinks Poster Child For “Money in Politics Problem” Should Be Crowned President

Hillary the Lady Macbeth of LittlerockLarry Lessig’s NH Rebellion is a partisan front to advance the left’s agenda under the guise of campaign finance reform. We pointed it out “on day one” or at least reminded folks who probably already had their suspicions.

Always remember Rule number one.

If Democrats want it the odds are good it’s bad for freedom, individual liberty, State sovereignty, the Constitution, and the country. Stay away.

Lessig and NH Rebellion have repeatedly justified the warning but why stop there? That’s right, Lessig just did it again.

When reality does not match a worldview…

popcorn at the movie theater / cinemaDilbert’s creator Scott Adams has been drawn into the political fray over the last couple of years and has a really pithy post on the crack up of the Left when they have to stare into that abyss of what their worldview beliefs are and the reality appearing before their eyes.  It really beggers their innermost mantra that anyone not with them are EVILLL and therefore, subhuman and, thus, incapable of anything good.

Adams foretells of their short to mid-term psychosis about to happen in front of us in real-time:

Imagine you are one of the anti-Trump folks who believe we just elected a racist, sexist, homophobic, anti-semitic, science-denying dictator. Let’s say that’s the movie playing in your mind. That’s some scary stuff.

Now imagine watching the news as Trump reveals in slow-motion that he’s flexible and pragmatic on just about everything. . . .

Is this the real reason why Democrats hate school choice & homeschooling?

Home schooled teens helped Republicans win key Senate races.

“…Torsoe was one of several hundred home-schooled teenagers deployed by a group called Generation Joshua in key Senate races in the days before the election to work for Republican incumbents whose re-election would determine whether the chamber remained in GOP hands…For the home schoolers, it’s not just about helping elect someone who shares many of their Christian values. It’s also about getting hands-on experience. And for Generation Joshua, it’s also about grooming a new generation of conservative activists, operatives and leaders.”

Most homeschooler kids are home school by conservative or libertarian parents that:
