Yesterday women across the country and even in some parts of the world put on pink ‘p*ssy’ hats and behaved like little ‘Veruca Salts’ because Hillary Clinton wasn’t elected. The ‘Women’s March’ was an embarrassing display of idiocy, hypocrisy and ignorance by mostly white women who clearly need therapy. These women weren’t actually protesting ANYTHING. Trump hasn’t done anything yet. It was more of a ‘pre-emptive’ protest of what they somehow think Trump and Republicans are GOING to do. OR not.

On Thursday, the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee in the New Hampshire House of Representatives heard testimony on a gun control bill that has been presented by Democrats but written by a gun control organization from California. For some reason, Representative Katherine Rogers (who also pushes New York-style gun control via billionaire Michael Bloomberg) believes a California organization knows more about New Hampshire than Granite Staters. She is seeking to push legislation that requires background checks on private citizens who are simply transferring firearms to another person, including when instructors teach firearm classes.

The ‘disappearing’ of the Climate Change page at Whitehouse.gov was one of the first changes I heard about yesterday.

Less than an hour after President Trump took the oath of office on Friday, the White House’s webpage on climate change disappeared from the Executive Branch’s main site, the latest sign that the new administration will divert resources – and attention – from the issue.

The removal of the page from the White House’s website came around the same time the site and other Executive Branch digital platforms were overhauled to reflect the new administration.

Instead, we can bask in the glory of this.

Right to Work (RTW) has passed the State Senate and moved on to the New Hampshire House. I learned this while walking past the newspaper stand leaving Wal-Mart today. The Nashua Telegraph lead their report with the words, “Senate passes so-called right to work…”

I watched the concert last night – wasn’t surprised that the “A-Listers” of Hollywood and the entertainment industry decided to “teach him a lesson” by boycotting it.  However, I think their actions accomplished two things that they didn’t intend to:

• They showed their snobbish and haughtiness towards those of us rubes and flyovers – who, incidentally, are the ones that give them their great wealth (and privilege) by consuming their products.  Or in the case of many, not doing so.
• With the above, they once again confirmed why Trump supporters voted for The Donald President Trump – these self-absorbed rump sniffers are part of that reason.

It wasn’t the best of concerts – until the very end.

I happened to be off work today so this being the Day of The End of an Error, I made sure that I watched the event.  My initial takeaway is that this was the antithesis of Barack Obama’s Presidency.  I think its theme, America First (and screw the references back to WWII and Charles Limbergh [H/T to loyal reader Paul for pointing out my misspppeeling -Skip] ), summarized why people voted for him.  The last 8 years has been the Progressive Period on steroids and Flyover Country got short shrift.

This election, and now President Trump, was payback for an overpowering and over intrusiveness by Washington into just about everything with values that weren’t traditional values.  In fact, I think it fair to say that Washington (and Progressives everywhere) took this time to slap us for holding those values. And in a lot of cases, made those values illegal.  As Kurt Schlichter said, they have and want to deny us normalcy.

We’ve reported on this before, but the numbers have ticked up a bit. According to this report, as many as 28% of current Federal employees are considering a departure from (cough-cough) Public Service as a result of the election of Donald Trump. That means they’ll quit or retire.

Irony Alert!

If America had known almost a third of the “swamp” would drain itself with Trump’s win might he have won bigger?

Wait. I bet they think this is a threat? As if “we” will somehow be harmed by their departure in any number?
