SB 47 – A Voter Fraud Clown Car Stopped By – No Thanks

Bill Gardner
NH Secretary of State Bill Gardner – Image Credit: Daily Caller

A little bird called me early this morning to let me know about an article regarding voter fraud in the Manchester paper. It is a letter to the editor by two attorneys warning everyone about SB 47, a bill to let Secretary of State Bill Gardner, of all people, handle voter fraud investigations – not the NH AG’s fumbling office.

The left-wing lawyers are right. It would be an abomination to let Secretary of State Gardner have anything to do with investigating voter fraud – or even our current political hack of an AG. Both have had plenty of time to clean up our election law violations.

Here is the real story, according to my 20 years working on the subject.

Jettiness – snow, skier….and Jetpack!

I used to put up a lot more of these kinds of video – jets attached to things other than on planes.  This one took me be surprise when I saw it but here it is! “…Flisar frantically straps into his handy jetpack and relies on its 88 lb (40 kg) of thrust to send … Read more

Blogline of the Day – a political gap?

“This is the moment that Donald Trump became the President”

Remember as you read this, I was a Cruz guy.

I’ve been watching these kinds of speeches intently for the last decade and I have to say this was about the best I’ve ever seen.  Given that it was Trump, and having watched a lot of his speeches, I was amazed at its construction, his wording, and its content.  It WAS good, indeed; sufficiently so that even Van Jones, self-avowed Communist and “Green” advisor to Obama, said that this was the moment Trump became President:

…He became President of the United States in that moment. Period. There are a lot of people who have a lot of reason to be frustrated with him, to be fearful of him. But that was one of the most extraordinary moments you’ve ever seen in American politics. Period. And he did something extraordinary.

…But he did something tonight that you cannot take away from him. He became President of the United States.

I would have to agree.  A lot of us on the Right

Investigating Voter Fraud Investigators III

New Hampshire Map - Cropped
We’ve got some voter fraud around these parts.

Here is one of my favorite NH Attorney General’s Office investigations of voter fraud.

On August 26, 2010, the NH AG received a complaint* that Megan Jo Searles allegedly voted in both Pembroke and Allenstown during the January 8, 2010, Presidential Primary. But the complaint that triggered this investigation is never identified. No source of the complaint is mentioned. Was it a voter who recognized Ms. Searles which would mean there was a witness.? Who knows.

The investigation continues with the statement that Allenstown was the domicile of Ms. Searles. The fact that the word “domicile” is so elusive in New Hampshire it can never be determined – the AG makes that leap here. So much for the famous NH “loophole.”

Demorrhoids

This may be the perfect word to describe modern Democrats. Demorrhoids. I’m just not sure why it didn’t occur to me sooner.

American College of Pediatricians – Gender Ideology Harms Children

Am Coll of PediatriciansLast March, while HB1661 (last years bathroom bill) was making the rounds in New Hampshire–as in other states–the American College of Pediatricians issued a statement and guidance on the issue of children, gender ideology, and gender dysphoria.

NH House Bill 478 is the same legislation only this year too many Republicans are ignoring the danger it represents to both women and girls, and to children. The bill came out of committee with a recommendation to pass it, so the only way to stop it is a floor fight. You need to reach out to your representatives and tell them to table this bill.

If you’d like some ammunition the American College of Pediatricians has updated their guidance and statement on this issue and its impact on children, and added a number of links in support.

Could New Hampshire’s Bathroom Bill Kill Job Growth?

Target Bathroom Bill killed business
Could HB478, New Hampshire’s latest bathroom bill, keep businesses away? It is a worthy question.

We know that sexual predators will inevitably try to take advantage of unbridled access to ladies changing rooms and bathrooms. It is a given that religious organizations will be at risk of having to face penalties or follow their faith. But what about the economics? Target instituted a system-wide transgender “bathroom bill” of its own last year, and the economic consequences for the company have been brutal.

A promise kept – and Joseph Plaia and Zandra Rice-Hawkins go on lying about SB12 – Part 5. And then there’s the Police Chiefs

F.U.D Factor – Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt.  The Police Chief’s Association here in NH has made all too clear that they hate the idea that law abiding citizens no longer have to come before them on bended knee to ask permission to wear a coat over a gun worn at one’s hip.  Here, Laconia Police Chief make it QUITE clear – he (and others) don’t trust us:

“I’m opposed to it,” said Laconia Police Chief Chris Adams. The process for acquiring a concealed carry permit, he said, “gives an added level of protection.”  Adams said he has processed hundreds of concealed carry permits per year since he became chief, and has only declined a handful of applications. He might deny an application because of mental health problems or the applicant’s criminal history, especially regarding drug use or sales.

Or, like in the case documented here on GraniteGrok, denied a license simply because Michelle Levell (current Chair of the NH Womens Defense League) refused to put more information on the Pistol/Revolver license application than legally required.  Not because of a criminal history, not because of mental illness – the power-went-to-his-head chief decided his requirements trumped that of the legal form.  Paperwork.  And cost Michelle thousands in court fees just for the judge to yell at said chief.

Back to Adams, the Laconia Chief.  Now, either before or after the passage of SB12, there was no legal requirement to inform the police, if stopped, if you were packing.  None at all.  So what is his parting words on the subject?

The Oscars, Chelsea Clinton, Global Warming

I was fooling around with laptops and microphones and surfing the internet and figured, why not combine these distractions. The Oscar Ratings are in, Chelsea Clinton Tweets, and something new about global warming and snow. (90 seconds)

A promise kept – and Joseph Plaia and Zandra Rice-Hawkins go on lying about SB12 – Part 4. Can’t forget about Ray Buckley!!

Buckles-the-Clown-e1326893415451So we had Joseph Plaia and Zandra Rice-Hawkins lie about SB12 – the law that Governor Sununu that finally gave NH residents the full measure of our Constitutional Right to keep and bear arms without having to ask Nanny Government “may I?”. Plaia is a shill for Gabby Gifford’s civilian disarmament group and Rice-Hawkins seemingly hates any idea or move to devolve even a smidgeon of power or decision making back to us plebes.

And of course, Ray Buckley the NH Dem Party Chair (who backed uber-Progressive, pro-Islamic, and anti-Semite Keith Ellison for DNC chair – and lost that bet) is in the same boat as these other two anti-Liberty yahoos.  What a trio of liars!  So what was Buckles The Clown’s take on this (reformatted, emphasis mine)?

The New Hampshire Democratic Party, however, chastised the governor for signing gun legislation – instead of other issues – as his first bill signing.

“The governor claims concealed carry is about ‘safety,’ but he is making it harder for law enforcement officials to keep track of guns that fall into the wrong hands,” claimed Ray Buckley, the head of the NHDP. “The vast majority of Granite Staters support common sense reforms like background checks and it is those reforms that will make us safer, not more accessibility.”

Unpaid taxes and contaminated hides: There’s something rotten in the Town of Raymond

raymondtownhallOn March 14th, the Town of Raymond will be holding its annual vote on warrant articles and open elected positions.   There have been some extremely interesting town meetings and deliberative sessions with the school board, the selectmen and a candidates’ night. During some of these meetings it was brought up that there are over $2 million in unpaid property taxes.

Raymond is a small town with a little over 10,000 people. They collected over $5 million in property taxes alone last year. It seems outrageous that such a small town as such a huge backlog of unpaid property taxes. It adds up to almost the total they are collection each year from those residents who actually pay. During the candidate night, selectman Jack Barnes claimed that the town has to have compassion when it comes to collecting of back taxes. He’s right. Towns do indeed have discretion if people have temporary circumstances that are causing a hardship. Is it really possible that there are $2 million worth of hardships?

[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzOxnqvZDTo]

When former selectman and candidate for the board William Hoitt addressed the unpaid tax issue, he stated that there are animal hides buried all over the place in Raymond and that’s one reason they don’t follow through on collecting taxes. Hoitt maintains the he actually knows where some of this contaminated property is and if a property owner doesn’t pay taxes and the town was to take over their home for that reason, the town would then have to pay to clean up the contamination. No one at the meeting seemed even a little taken aback by this horrifying statement.
