Joe Biden’s “Hysteria, Xenophobia, and Fear-Mongering”

Whoever is Running the Biden Administration (WRBA) has released new restrictions on travel from China. “The White House announced Wednesday it will require travelers from China to test negative for COVID-19 prior to arrival in the U.S.”

It’s a good idea. Italy began testing planeloads of travelers from China, and so far, half have tested positive for COVID.

“On the first flight, out of 92 passengers 35 (38%) are positive. On the second, out of 120 passengers 62 (52%) are positive,” Lombardy regional councilor for welfare Guido Bertolaso said at a news conference, as quoted by Sky News.

Italian Health Minister Orazio Schillaci said mandatory testing for Chinese travelers is “essential to ensure surveillance and detection of possible variants of the virus in order to protect the Italian population.”

Given past fearmongering, “casualties,” and outrage, this classifies as a biological and psychological act of war or something. China has been on a COVID-Zero roll for a while, only recently opening the doors a bit. And since the Chinese don’t just go someplace with China allowing it, letting them leave without testing them seems like a deliberate act. But even if it’s not, Joe Biden’s administration expects them to test negative before being allowed in, which, if we hop into the Wayback machine sounds, well, let’s let Joe tell you for himself.

It’s “hysteria, xenophobia, and fearmongering.”

For the record, I have the same thoughts about Trump’s and Biden’s decisions, but Biden’s got a new problem. He’s tripped over his rhetoric to do something sensible while letting millions of non-residents swarm across the southern border untested.

And while China may be trying to stoke a new pandemic cloud of fear – most certainly a political move – how does Whoever is Running the Biden Administration explain the inbound restriction on people entering the country legally ‘cuz CORONA but not for those pouring in illegally with CORONA and a manifold of other second and third world diseases?

That sounds like an excellent question for your Democrat Congressmanpersonthing.

Let us know what sort of form letter you get back talking around the hypocrisy.
