Maggie Hassan’s campaign ads are an endless source of amusement, contradiction, and content. Like the ad about the bill to help moms stay home with disabled kids. She was only a co-sponsor, and the bill hasn’t moved an inch since introduction seventeen months ago.

Hassan claims she’s fiscally responsible but helped add 11.5 Trillion to the federal debt in fewer than six years. All of this is bad for families and small businesses Maggster; them, their kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids who will pay the interest on that debt (and for that debt) for generations. But you and your peeps keep telling us how much you care.
Her latest air-wave carpet bombing suggests she supports cops and border security. She voted to spend 8 billion, the ad says. Trump only wanted 5 billion to build the border wall. Hassan voted against fully funding the wall. She stood with Democrats in opposition to the project and promoted the party narratives about the border under Trump’s tenure.
If we’d built the wall, we wouldn’t have to spend that eight billion. If you’re new here, that’s three billion Maggie wasted on a problem it didn’t solve. The border is still open. We still have a humanitarian crisis. The caring concerned human traffickers and drug cartels are pouring past the unsecured border while unknown thousands die just trying to get across.
It galls me (a least a little bit) that she has the b*lls to pretend she gives a sh!t when her party is wholly responsible for the opioid epidemic killing thousands annually that started during Barry’s Oval Office tenure. But hey, Maggie spent 8 billion on problem Democrats don’t want solved.
But your money gave Hassan (and any other weak Democrats in seats they could lose) another talking point for a campaign ad, and that’s what really matters.
