Obama’s EPA hackarina, Gina McCarthy, serves as a climate advisor for the Bidenistas. Not the economic climate nor the international. And not the broken border (that’s Kamala). Baby Formula Czar? Nope. She’s Biden’s Climate cult Torquemada and wants her big tech inquisitors cut your tongue out.
“We need the tech companies to really jump in,” she said, because highlighting the costs of green energy is “equally dangerous to denial because we have to move fast.” Got that, Mark Zuckerberg?
Merely pointing out technical limitations of lithium-ion batteries could be “disinformation.”
If you want to discuss issues with engineering, physics, or logistics, that demonstrate how what they demand will fail – harming people, the nation, and the environment, well, gosh, Wally, that’s disinformation.
We’ll have none of that, and the Government, through the mouthpiece of Gina McCarthy, is asking the internet to censor it. That would be like banning the sale of newsprint to broadsheets that dared to question the methods and tactics of bureaucrats and politicians in centuries past. The internet is just a medium, and big Tech may be its gatekeeper, but the Government asking, hinting, and coaxing them to censor partisan speech is a problem.
It is a different problem from them engaging in censorship voluntarily.
Without getting into a debate about whether Facebook, Twitter, or Google are more public utilities than private entities acting on their own behalf, the Government is expressly prohibited from what McCarthy suggests.
Yes, the Government does it all the time and more than we can know, and not just from the lips of Gina McCarthy. Censorship is a plank in every authoritarian platform. And the progressives have been very successful at grooming their corporate oligarchs to print their own branches.
Censorship or censure. That’s the Government’s policy. And what’s left is labeled the consensus.
It’s the intellectual equivalent of ethnic cleansing.
So, modern Democrats like Gina McCarthy are just little Hitlers purifying the “intellectual” dogma of their 21st-century master race, and big Tech and corporate media are their Schutzstaffel.
