Yes, this is out of order, numerically speaking, with those Snippets “in the can” but not yet published. But, I felt it was right given the copycat tragedy that just occurred in Uvalde, Texas.
Yet another mass shooting at an elementary school. Yes, the Left would love to take all of the law-abiding citizens’ guns away in punishment for a few mentally ill / ideologically wacko people. Those two groups are merely fulcrums to be used to further what I see is their end goal – complete disarmament by any means even if the [hated by them] Constitution protects our Second Amendment Rights.
They do NOT want to acknowledge that it is the person wielding the gun that’s the problem – they always go after the inanimate object that just sits there. That hunk of metal and plastic has no agency of its own – only the shooter does. It’s the same play with SUVs when an accident occurs – it is the vehicle at fault, not the driver. Why?
They see SUVs as a crime against GAIA for emissions purposes (and many believe they are WAY too big and you don’t “need” them).
NO gun control law would have stopped this. But there is a problem… …the Left’s decades long efforts in changing Culture’s norms to where Life at any stage is no longer valued. Instead, it’s all about ME! and all about MY needs and MY feelings and MY life – a complete distorted dystopia that the Left has created in the perpetual outraged supporters it has corrupted that nothing is EVER their fault so why be responsible for anything?
Until the Left begins to understand that they are not the gods of themselves, we all are in a world of hurt. After all, gun safety used to be taught regularly in even elementary schools up to the 50s and 60s?
