One Minute Read: Responding to People who Blame Putin for High Gas Prices in America.

If you search Putin and Gas prices on GraniteGrok.com, you will find dozens of pieces on our pages about Joe, motor fuel, and its connection to that thing in Ukraine. But Sometimes you want to dispatch the trolls quickly, so I thought I’d boil it down.

Here we go.

The standard Leftish or under-informed response to any conversation about what you just paid at the pump is, “Gas prices are high because Putin invaded Russia.”

The default response should be: Before Joe Biden took office, America didn’t need to buy oil from Ukraine.

You could leave that hanging there to ripen but if you think it necessary, add: “After he took office we did. Did it ever occur to anyone to ask why?”

At this point, the question is no longer about Biden responding to what Russia did but how Biden got us tied up with Russian oil in the first place?

How, (under Biden) did we become dependent on a regime that for years (under Trump) Democrats claimed was hell-bent on compromising our economy, security, and way of life?

A relationship under Biden that would not have existed under President Trump.

Go forth, happy readers, and make liberals miserable.
