This upcoming Wednesday, April 20th at 6 pm in Filene Auditorium at Dartmouth, we are planning what is arguably our most ambitious event yet.
World-renowned journalist James O’Keefe is scheduled to come to speak on Dartmouth’s campus about the corrupt and biased mainstream media and his new book, American Muckraker.
For those of you who are not familiar, James O’Keefe is an undercover journalist, author, and the founder of Project Veritas, an organization that seeks to uncover the truth when the mainstream media will not. Most notably, he and his team have been at the forefront of reporting on topics such as the Wuhan lab leak, the Hunter Biden laptop scandal, and the pervasive corruption at the heart of CNN.
Unfortunately, as many of you know, the radical left on campus and the Dartmouth Administration are hell-bent on sabotaging our organization. This winter, we attempted to host a panel with journalist Andy Ngo and former Antifa member, Gabriel Nadales titled ‘Extremism in America.’
In response, a group of Dartmouth students created their own Antifa group and coordinated with Antifa in the Northeast to make violent threats against our event on Instagram. Despite a large police presence that included Dartmouth SNS (Safety and Security), Hanover Police, State troopers, and New Hampshire S.W.A.T., the Dartmouth administration caved to the radical left and canceled our event at the very last moment, forcing us to host it on Zoom. Many of you drove a long way only to be turned away at the door.
Now months later, the Dartmouth Administration is trying to stick us with the absurd security bill ($3600) for our last event–despite the fact that they forced us to host it on Zoom!
They would like nothing more than to prevent our group from operating. They are using the debt incurred from these security costs as a rationale to refuse us any further funding until this debt is paid back. As a result, we’re a little short on our fundraising goals for this event.
Our events are free and open to the public, but it would mean so much to us and go a very long way to fighting the radical left at Dartmouth if you would consider donating.
