The Twitter board appears ready to accept an offer by Elon Musk to buy the Social Media Platform outright. That means musk could have the board’s blessing with shareholders instructed to take his offer of 54.20 per share.
According to multiple sources familiar with the issue, Twitter is finally prepared to accept Elon Musk’s offer to buy up the company in its entirety, Reuters reported Monday morning.
The report said the social media giant was “poised to agree” to Musk’s offer of roughly $43 billion in cash. …
On Sunday, sources told The Wall Street Journal that after Musk announced he had acquired $46.5 billion in financing in his bid for the company, Twitter decided to take “a fresh look at the offer” and was now “more likely than before to seek to negotiate.”
The news is spreading quickly, and while the Lefty nuts will lose their minds and swear they are leaving for Canada other platforms, Musk had some advice.
I hope that even my worst critics remain on Twitter, because that is what free speech means

What does this mean? Twitter will become a fantastic place to be (I’m glad I didn’t delete my account).
The fact-checking, community standards Stasi will get the boot. A new boss, new culture, and many employees will walk off the job in a snit (also good).
But speech will be freer for the political Left and the political Right, On one of the world’s largest global “speech” platforms in existence. Yes, Dems, Progs, and Libs, you will have to compete on messaging and media.
For those of you losing your minds – because you don’t like competition (that’ll be fun to watch) – you can always start a new “Twitter.” All the former CNN+ employees who learn to code can get work there.
And there’s always Fakebook, or is Musk going to buy that next?
Oh, and all of this still needs to be approved by all parties as well as the FEC, so “*”.
