Ron DeSantis and Florida Republicans got Democrats not just to defend allowing adults to talk to other people’s little kids about sex but to demand it publicly. They made such a row that even the disinterested started paying attention.
Everyone from Sherry Fing Frost to Joe Biden has since put their foot in their mouth opposing a bill that asks groomers and pedos to wait until kids are in fourth grade before trying to sexualize them. And hey, hormone blockers and genital mutilation surgery are essential to public health.
Says the pedos and groomers.
While that mess brewed, Elon Musk bought 9.2% of Twitter. Then a week later offered to buy the whole bird. The Left’s primal scream still echoes across corporate media and the digital multiverse.
Elon has made it clear that his Twitter would not censor people. It would stop the auto-flagging, tagging, and linking of Dem propagandists doing business as fact-checkers to other people’s content.
In other words, the problem of free speech would be solved by more free speech.
The Democrats hate it.
Under no circumstances should a private company be owned by a guy who isn’t going to run it the way they want, no matter how many Electric Vehicles he sells.
They mean that saying whatever you want isn’t free speech except in a grammar school classroom. Teachers should be free to talk about sexuality to five and six-year-olds (or call them racists), and if parents object, it’s speech suppression, hate, or some other narrative mill buzzword designed to scare off dissenters.
Fraud is what the left is about, and Elon Musk has gotten Democrats to expose themselves. Twitter is what we’ve been calling it for years. A social media site full of leftwing, censorious jackasses committed to media and message control of everything and everyone at any cost.
And while Musk didn’t pass a law, whether he buys a path to ownership of Twitter or not, he has done us a public service. Democrats are proving once again that free speech is a threat to their authoritarian tick, and they are PROUD of that.
