The Department of Homeland Security has labeled questioning the Government’s COVID response as domestic terrorism. Free speech is a terrorist act. That’s creepy and despotic, and so is this.
At least 25 federal agencies have implemented a system to track religious exemption requests for mandated vaccines, according to a review of Federal Register notices by The Epoch Times.
The agencies include the departments of Justice, Health and Human Services, Housing and Urban Development, Transportation, the Treasury, the Social Security Administration, the Federal Election Commission.
Why?
The Heritage Foundation suggests that it may be a test pilot project to monitor all Federal Workers.
Due to the Biden administration’s choice of the little-known Pretrial Services Agency to implement the database, The Heritage Foundation called the system a “test run” for a nationwide database of all religious exemption requests made by federal workers. The Pretrial Services Agency gathers information and makes recommendations about newly arrested defendants in the federal criminal system.
According to the reporting, that list includes contractors, consultants, interns, and even volunteers.
It gets creepier. If the Feds can track them, it is a small leap for anyone who takes federal money for anything, including NGOs and public schools. The list knows no end. So why not include any group of people or everyone and transition it to something similar to or exactly like the Chinese Social Credit Score system.
I’d be curious to hear what our Liberal lurkers think about that?
On the surface, the Jabbernaughts are probably keen on a program that filters society in this way. Many rank and file Dems, and many of them in elected office, have bought into the idea of medical fascism as a public health necessity. Are they in so deep that they easily discount the harms caused by both the injections and the non-pharmaceutical interventions? That they would bad-mouth perfectly safe and effective treatment because the State said it was true?
If that is a price worth paying, anything is possible.
People willing to accept the DHS declarations as they did the FBI tracking parents whose crime was exercising their first amendment rights at school board meetings to people who were supposed to be accountable to them.
Democrats who embraced Obama’s calls for watchlists crafted by friends and neighbors listing people in their communities or their own family. The people who report the unmasked in public or folks having parties that may have had more than ten people there.
List building and informing.
Why not just download the GOP’s latest voter data if that’s the goal? Why not use the DNC’s? Dozens of points of reference make it a simple matter to line up potential dissidents against whatever wall you have in mind.
The unjabbed may be the target of the American Despotism today, but there’s no coming back from that sort of thing, and it doesn’t end with people with whom you may disagree. If history is any guide rounding up the intellectuals, artists, and media are inevitable.
Can you handle the truth?
I’m sure if asked, they’ll say that would never happen. But two years ago, if we’d said that within 24 months, the government would label-free speech as domestic terrorism or that the State would have a watch list based on faith-based medical preferences, you’d have said the same thing, and here we are.
