What’s even funnier is that the NY Times, generally in full support of American Civilian Disarmament even with our centuries old Second Amendment, has gone ga-ga over the Ukrainian Government passing out FULLY AUTOMATIC weapons to its citizens – no getting a license, not training needed, and here’s your ammo for free!
Yes, this is the New York Times writing approvingly of average Ukrainian citizens taking up arms to defend themselves, their families, and their country. They’re being thousands of what the Times refers to as “assault rifles” for which most of them will have had little to no training at all.
Yes, the link is paywalled (and they’ve disabled 12ft.io to get around it) but either question is valid: how much did they have to grit their teeth to just to even write what others are seeing or what editor / factchecker was out of their mind two days ago?
